Steve is the best. We had our roof replaced 5 years ago with a permanent spray-on foam roof, which has a lifetime warranty.
Well with all the rain recently our skylight started to leak very slowest. I called Williams Roofing, and within a few hours Steve gave me a call, came over at the time he said he would, walked my entire roof (not just the skylight), said the skylight has a small crack, and even sealed it up for free.
I know the skylight is not a part of the lifetime roof warranty, and they didn’t install it either, it’s like 20+ years old, but the fact that he offered to seal it up

Williams Roofing is a true local Fremont small business. I usually go by word of mouth and not so much with Yelp because sometimes reviews can be misconstrued and tbh I prefer a true old old fashion referral. Steve and his teams quality of work is GOOD. They are efficient and work hard. We had our whole roof replaced and the finished product was just beautiful. We had a little damage done to our roof from our landscapers so we called Steve and he came by to access the damage for repair. He gave us an honest quote.

Based on the recommendation of a friend, I called Williams roofing and spoke to a person by the name of Steve. We spoke briefly and scheduled a time to meet at the property the following day. He arrived on-time and give me a quote after looking at the roof and gutters. I found him extremely professional and his quote was more reasonable than other contractors. So, I decided to hire him.
Based on our agreement, he and his helper showed up on time and finished the job. I’m extremely satisfied with his work and professionalism. I highly recommend Williams roofing and Steve.

I am a retired Real Estate Broker doing real estate for 34-years. I have dealt with many contractors. With so many roofers to choose from, I do not recommend Williams Roofing at all. He is rude, inconsiderate, and lacks the virtue of empathy, which is critical when dealing with contractors. I had an appointment with an hour window and he is "no show, no call." What makes it more aggravating is I do not live in that house. When I saw him the next day, with an appointment that I initiated, he showed up but did not offer any apology from the previous day. We were introduced to Steve by our realtor when we needed to get a roof inspection to buy our home. Since then he's been maintaining our roof and we've been very happy with his service.
Most recently we asked him to check on a leak and despite the constant rain which makes inspection and repairs difficult, Steve came and did the job during a brief break in the rain, which we greatly appreciate.

We had our roof done over five years ago and were extremely happy with Williams Roofing. At the time we got a few quotes and they were the best. The crew was very nice and good at what they do. The roof turned out great and we were very pleased with our decision. Fast forward five years and we were having condensation building up in our bathroom skylight. I called Steve and he came right out. He explained to me exactly what was going on and made some suggestions on things I could do to ease the issue. Got my wood shake roof replaced in September of 2017 and Williams Roofing did an amazing job not only on the roof but the cleanup as well. No nails or debris found anywhere around the house. He even offered further cleanup after the job as well due to not being able to fully clean the debris off that fell on top of the ceiling tiles that I have in my garage! No leaks in the house with the rains that we got this winter and no problems with the new gutters either! Great and thorough service from Steve and the gutter replacement by a sourced contractor did a great job! I would recommend Williams Roofing

After received several quotes from roof vendors in the bay area, we decided to go with William Roofing, based on price and schedule but mostly straight forward explanations from Steve. We couldn't be more please. Thanks Steve and his crew on an amazing job with our roof. The processes went very smoothly from the beginning to the end. This roofing company that simply does not want your business and whoever is responding to their Yelp messages just doesn't get it.
Why do customers have a "request for quote" option? So..... we as customers can compare, ask questions, get details, get comfortable with a company your about to spend thousands of dollars with maybe???
Simply put, I requested for a quote and an Appt. for a quote/estimate. Their Yelp message person replied they're booked until April, but if we(the customer) was willing to wait and just get an estimate for now, we can arrange that.

Williams roofing replaced our roof and it looks amazing. Williams roofing had replaced my neighbors roof and they had nothing but positive things to say about the company. We called and got a quote then they were able to come out a month later and replace my roof. They were done in a few days and cleaned up all the mess. Williams pricing was fair and reasonable. We just had a new roof installed by Steve Williams and his team. They were very professional, met commitments of start/end dates and were on budget. Steve gave us a very competitive quote and an estimated start date, which they actually exceeded by starting a few days earlier. He also worked very well with a General contractor we had hire to replace a few sky lights in the process. Finished in less than a week and followed up very promptly on a few open areas.

Williams Roofing did the minor miracle of finding time and pulling off a repair in the midst of peak season where apparently every East Bay and South Bay roof has sprung a leak.
Responded promptly to my voicemail, sent quote over the weekend and was done with the work in 3 days. There is a bit of ninja style about them. They show up, do their assessment and then the work and you won't even see them! But the work was done very well, the quote was reasonable and I haven't seen any seeping water since!
