Volume Zero is an architectural firm based in New Orleans that provides design services for a wide variety of project types. The firm was established in 1997 by its current Partners, the husband-and-wife team of Michael Cajski and Van Tran. Michael Cajski is licensed to practice architecture in four states.
He graduated as Salutatorian from the Bachelor of Architecture Program at Tulane University in 1994, and he now holds a Master of Architecture degree. He has served as Project Architect for numerous multi-million dollar projects, and he is a LEED-Accredited Professional. Van Tran is a licensed architect and is the firm's head designer.
She holds a Bachelor of Architecture and a Master of Architecture degree from Tulane University, where she was a recipient of the prestigious Dean's Honor Scholarship. She grew up in New Orleans, where she graduated as Valedictorian of Benjamin Franklin High School in 1989. Prior to becoming a licensed architect, Van managed space planning and office renovation projects at the NASA Michoud facility in New Orleans East.

Stepping into Bank Cafe for a drink, I felt like I'd stumbled upon a rare animal outside of its natural habitat. Bars this sleek are normally found off the streets of San Francisco or Amsterdam. The building, a former bank, has an air of decadence -- we drink where responsible people once saved for their retirement.
Their attention to detail was extraordinary. I personally felt that I could always trust they would provide honest and prompt responses to my concerns. Additionally, under their oversight the project was completed within the timeline and budget. I would wholeheartedly recommend this architectural design studio for any project.
