The window sill was cut too long and had to be shorten. The picture on the left shows a clean straight cut from manufacturing. The picture on the right shows that Jesus cut the right end with a notch. I cannot use my expensive press on tiles. The worker was very rude to me throughout the day. I definitely feel that he considers women inferior. I have three degrees in art and I saw that he was not doing a proper job at the window.
I had every horizontal surface in my house done by this company six years ago. It was perfect!

Critical: Quality, Value
This company poorly installed my sink and granite top which caused extreme damage to my expensive new sink cabinet (over $500). They only agreed to recaulk the sink. I wouldn’t use them under any circumstances. Only reason I utilized their services because Home Depot hired them to do the job.

Buyer beware - RUN! Do not use this company. If you are working thru Home Depot, Floor & Decor, or another large store ask your designer to assign you a different tile contractor. We ordered a quartz slab for an island and a coulple of counters in our new kitchen. We were told by the measuring crew and sales people that we would be able to have the installation by Thanksgiving, since that was a month away and they only needed 2-3 weeks. I followed up on November 16th to make sure everything was on schedule. I was told there would be no way I could have the counter in before Thanksgiving. The best

We debated between 2-3 stars. Mostly went with 3 stars because they aren't as bad as some of the other contractors we've had.
We got sub'ed to them unexpectedly by Home Depot, but had no choice in it, and went along.
Pro's:
- beautiful granite countertop (after more than 6 months)
Con's -
- No transparency to pricing. Home Depot had a "free upgrade or 10-20% off" sale going on. But we couldn't figure out if we got either. Just got told a final price, and no breakdown was given - even when we asked. Didn't appear we got any discount/upgrade judging

Do not business with this company.
If you’re buying countertops through Lowe’s make sure you do not get assigned to this company for contracting.
We were told at the date of purchase on our $10,000 countertops that they would be installed in 4-6 weeks. 2 weeks later, we got called by Hy-tech that the countertops are delayed 2 weeks because they were back-ordered.
Two weeks later they called us telling us that the countertops were now in, but they still wouldn’t be installed for an additional 4-6 weeks – giving us a date that was nearly 3 months after purchase. We explained this wasn’t

Worst experience I have had. I went through Lowe's, and they sub'd this to Hy-Tech. They installed the counter tops but had gouges throughout the top. We contacted them and they sent out 3 techs to fix it. This was a LONG process. They wouldn't return calls and took over a month to get anyone out. Then they took another month for another tech to come out and try to fix it. We had to keep calling them to get them to do anything! They couldn't fix it so they were going to replace the top. after 6 months later they were going to install a new one and the one they came

Disappointed that I used this company after purchasing my kitchen counter from Home Depot. First issue is their customer service. It was so challenging to get responses from them. I always had to follow up for status. Second issue was that they neglected to tell me that they removed the piece of material under the counter that holds up the dishwasher up so my dishwasher couldn't be installed. When I asked them for help with this, they took three days to even call me back and then told me there was nothing they could do.
The only good thing is that the counter does look nice. I have the install

Not happy with treatment for counter kitchen project.
Started the process Jan 11. Jan 15, a representative came to measure and template guy to follow a week later. It is now Feb 22 and I still do not have an installation date. This is way too long of a wait for a kitchen counter project. I will think twice using Home Depot's sub-contractors. Called 6 times. Hy Tech is giving me the runaround. Different reasoning every time. Not a happy camper.

I worked very closely with Hy-Tech and they did demo work and installed my new natural stone countertops for 3 bathrooms and my laundry room. They were timely, the guys who did the work were professional, they followed Covid regulations by always wearing their masks, they covered my flooring where they walked, and they cleaned up the mess that comes along with demo. Dan Grecu and Brian Lyman were such a pleasure to work with. They are top notch and kept track of my progress and outcome. Thank you for taking care of me like family. I would highly recommend them.

Had quartz counters installed through Lowes Murrieta. Everything looked good until less than a year out, a chip in the counter and now this week another chip. They told me its over a year when I reported it so not covered. Even though I was not going to have someone out due to Covid. Furthermore told me chips are not covered in the lifetime warranty! It shouldnt be chipping at all!! Product is sold as indestructible! So they want to charge $300 per chip forever. I am HEARTBROKEN. I waited 15 years to get these counters.

ATTENTION; Lowe's will pair you up with this company, DO NOT USE THEM! Request another company, cancel the project anything except go through with it. They have the worst costume service, I would give them a zero star if possible. After waiting 1 whole month for my countertop installation, they made a mistake on the template AND on the cutting shop, plus they had 3 seems on my quartz (granted my kitchen is very small) so all the quartz went back to the shop. After that the costumer service was very bad, it's not what we the costumer want, it's what this shop thinks it's easier

Our dealing with Hy Tech Tile, Inc. was "NOT" a very pleasant experience. We were remodeling a bathroom & had picked a color for a new vanity top on Jan.28, 2020. We used Hy Tech's color sample (at Lowes, which had flecks of brown in it) to match the cabinets that we were ordering. When the vanity arrived for installation, there was no brown in it at all. I refused to accept it. I & my Lowe's rep. contacted Hy Tech & was told by April (on 2/20) that it would have to get approval of higher management for a replacement. After not hearing anything, I called & had to leave a message for Abbie (higher

I was assigned this company through Lowes, for having my countertops done. The workers that came out to my house, the gentleman that did the measurements and the install team, did a great job, with the exception of some of the cleanup, that could have been better, but they did a good job. However, the reason for the low rating is their customer service. I was given an arrival time for the install team of 8-10am, at 0950 i call the home office to be told that my time had been moved to 10-12, without them bothering to call and let me know, it was a good thing I had taken the entire day off of work

Up from one star. One more star for Kristal because she was my contact at Hy-Tech. I believe she did her best to help solve the problem. One more star for Angel and Robert who came out to do the repair today. They were very courteous and professional. And two stars because the countertop is just beautiful. If it had not taken a month and a half, and repeated phone calls, I would have given them 5 stars.

We bought the quartz counter top at Lowes and Hy-Tech Tile did the installation for us. Because of the layout of our kitchen, the installation was pretty challenging. But they made an extra effort and it turned out perfect! Especially the seam is literally invisible. The installers are very polite and professional too. Highly recommended.

No one seems to select Hy-Tech Tile. They get them via Lowes.
Our quartz countertop was a L shape with a cutout for a grill. The guy who measured said that the seam would be behind the grill - about 4" long and hidden. They installed it with a seam right across the biggest part of the countertop - 26" long. The counter is only 7 1/2 feet long. No excuse for a bad looking, super long seam right in the middle.
I sent a photo of the seam and asked to have it redone. They refused. Now I have to take it up with Lowes. Maybe with enough complaints, Lowes will find a new installer

We got this company to install quartz counters in a kitchen through Lowe's.
The main office scheduled the measurement detail, installation, a second visit to install a piece of counter that was cut incorrectly from the first slab, and one visit to fix one of the counters rubbing on the drawer. -1 star for them cutting the slab wrong because that was super dumb (the dimensions in the drawing were correct, they just cut one piece 3" too short at the shop. They were able to find a matching slab and cut a new one and install it within a week.) Main office returned my calls within 1-2 business

As with others, Hy-Tech Tile was chosen by Lowe's as a subcontractor. With that said, we had no choice in the matter.
The process once I started having to deal with Hy-Tech became quite a head ache. There was a severe lack of communication between their main office and installers. One person would say one thing and another would tell me another. Right of the bat there was an issue with the initial person taking measurements. Understandably, the person who came out informed me that there were some leveling issues with my cabinets, told me what I had to do to fix them, and we proceeded. A week

They came out twice, once to measure, once to create a template. Each time, I had to take a day off, because they work between the hours of 10 and 11. They seemed surprised every time I told them that I worked. They decided what day they would come and install the countertops. Had to take another day off for that day, just to have them tell me they mismeasured, and would need to come back another day. Still waiting for the call about when that is going be. It would be great if they would follow through and call me back to schedule the day I will have to take another day off to fix their mistake
