I have been affiliated with Lindsey and Greyhouse, Inc. for about 3 years. Lindsey is a go-getter in all aspects of her life, so it comes as no surprise that Greyhouse, Inc. delivers nothing short of excellent work.
Having seen the some of the results that Greyhouse has been able to provide for its clients, I would not hesitate to refer this business to any of my colleagues.

Our bathroom was something we had neglected for entirely too long. Lindsey and Chris took the time to listen to us and help us plan out what we wanted and what we needed. They also talked us through each step to ensure we stayed within our budget. The best part of all was knowing with 100% certainty that our house was in good hands even when we weren't there. We couldn't possibly be happier with the end product. They took a limited amount of space and made it both functional and attractive. While we're glad the project is complete and we have the bathroom we want, we're going to miss talking and

My husband and I called Greyhouse Inc to come out to our home for a rough quote on a master suite addition to our home. Lindsey and the project manager came out to our home for the consultation on the scheduled date. We were informed after the consultation it would take 7-10 days for them to determine the rough estimate for the job. After 10 days we heard nothing from Lindsey or the project manager so we called to see if they needed any additional information. No one answered so we left a voicemail. It now has been 4 weeks since the initial consultation and we haven’t heard anything from Greyhouse

GreyHouse did a major renovation of the property next door to my residence. Their work, completed roughly 2 years ago, included installing a new retaining wall, 3 or 4' high, on the steep slope at the front of the house. This retaining wall was not properly engineered. In particular, unlike the much older (60 years roughly) wall it replaced, no provision was made for water to drain from the retained soil through the wall. A few weeks ago, the wall started to bow outward and crack. Today, in a heavy summer rainstorm, it failed catastrophically, spilling dirt and concrete blocks across the sidewalk

GreyHouse, Inc. was referred to us by a relative that used the company for a large home renovation. We like the relative's positive comments about the renovation outcome and tour given to see the transformation that was beautiful. We scheduled a meeting with Lindsey (owner) to discuss remodeling our kitchen/dining area and three bathrooms. The meeting with Lindsey and Chris (contractor) was pleasant.

Wonderful customer service and exceptional work!! Lindsey and Chris were so great to work with! From the first day they were nothing but professional and courteous! They looked over the insurance estimate and noticed a very big mistake and we were able to get several thousand more dollars from the insurance company due to their expertise and general knowledge! I will be recommending them to anyone who is in need of a general contractor!

We had Greyhouse to do some remodeling for us in May, 2014. As part of the job, they removed a wall and put in new hardwood floors in the kitchen which had to be worked in to the existing family room floor. After the job was finished, the floors began to shift and move, the boards heaved and cupped. We called Chris, the Superintendent and he came back out with Solomon, the floor guy, and they tried to fix the problem by cutting the boards so they would not heave and filling the gaps with wood putty. We were not pleased with the results and it was obvious that they didn't know what to do to fix

My husband and I worked with Greyhouse planning a top to bottom, whole house remodel. We found out that the level of customer service they offer was FAR superior to their competitors. They made the project about US, the client. No question too small or unimportant for them. They gave us 6 or 8 different floor plans to consider. None of this "one size fits all" for Greyhouse!
Ultimately, we decided not to complete the project, after post-reno appraisals came in lower than we expected. Even then, after countless hours of work on their part, there was not a hint of bad attitude from them. In fact

We had Lindsey come to our home and propose a bathroom renovation. She had so many conflicting answers to questions that appear to be simple that the trust was just not there. After a few hours we warmed up to her but as the saying goes...Go with your gut instinct! We had to fire them and hire a new company to complete the job. We had the most shady looking subcontractors you could imagine in our home which none of them spoke English. The cost of the job was 31k which after the demo they had to charge us 4K more because our electrical panel "was not up to code" (which we found out it is) this was

Beware of NO Permits. The business is a NC Licensed General Contractor but yet they failed to pull building permits before the work started. Contracted with them to build a loft over an open foyer, they started on time but did not get any permits. 3 days into the project, after demo and new structural work completed, I discover no permits had been issued by the town despite my assurances that they follow the building code. It was only after calling them and inquiring about the permits and being told by an owner that permits "are not issued for theoretical work" and that "it can be confusing if
