My father was a principal with the Indiana Business Colleges. While I was still in school he had a little book on his desk entitled On Excellence. It's a lifelong value that guided me as a student, as a professor and -- for over 25 years -- has guided me as a Santa Barbara painting contractor. Each customer is unique.

John and his crew did an excellent job of acquiring the right kind of paint and then applying it in an effective and efficient manner. We also had some wood repairs on door jams and a couple of repairs on our tile roof that John also took care of. We are very happy with the results and highly recommend Pickerill Painting.

John painted the exterior of our home. Some of our friends have had John paint their homes too, and are also pleased with his work. He is very thorough and his work holds up well. We put new shingles on our roof, and John replaced some rotten boards under the eaves that the roofer missed. He also stained our new fence, balancing our desire to see the grain with just enough pigment for durability.

Pickerill Painting just painted our 1939 cottage for the second time. We are so pleased with the attention to detail, the careful restoration of the original shutters and windows, and the meticulous use of several historical paint colors. And we aren't the only ones impressed! I was outside gardening and three different people walking in the neighborhood stopped to compliment the paint job and asked who had done it. I can't recommend Pickerill Painting highly enough!

John and his team did an amazing job on our house painting. They were quick, easy to work with, very professional and did an incredible detailed job. They held to the timeline and budget they quoted me at (very reasonable) and went above and beyond by doing extra touch ups in other areas, or trying to figure out how to skip areas that were already in good condition to get extra areas done on the same budget. John also spent a great deal of time and effort before the job at no cost to us trying to figure out an exact paint match – not only did this make the work look better in the end it also

We are very happy with the work John and his team did for us. They were extremely meticulous and obviously have a high degree of pride in their work. One of the most important attributes of the job was John's clear and frequent communication. This was our first time using John but we appreciated his honesty and his expertise was clearly evident. This helped instill a level of trust and, as a result, there were no surprises. We would absolutely recommend John to anyone needing his services and we definitely plan on using him for future projects.
