I am giving Cali Bath and Kitchen a 5 star because he worked with us and because he stuck with the job until it was 100% complete and we were satisficed with the product. This company has it's problems and had to redo a number of items to make them right, but there was no argument and the work was fixed and completed as promised. Be aware that the contract cost you are agreeing to does not include finish materials (all the way down to the electrical outlets). For us, this was fine since I preferred to select all my own finishes and was able to save money by not paying the contractor mark-up

The reason I gave this company 5 stars was because Joseph, who owns the company, stuck with the job until completion and was interested in making sure it was what we wanted. His staff made a number of mistakes along the way which needed correction, but he always came back and made the corrections without argument. He provided us a very fair price for the work but it is important to note that he does not supply any finishes (including the electrical outlets) in his price which is not common among contractors I have worked with in the past. With that said, it worked out to our advantage to purchase

One star is too many for this company. The initial estimate was 3-5 weeks to complete our project. It has turned into a homeowner's worst nightmare. Our initial deposit was collected in October 2020. Work started On November 3rd 2020, and work stopped on June 1st 2021. In a few days it will be December of 2021. The project was to remodel a 5x4 foot bathroom, and a small shower approximately 2.5x2.5' . Bathroom had a broken drain pipe (tree roots) and a hot water slab leak.

Wasted our time, that's why they get 3 stars. Called explaining what we needed for our small kitchen condo to sell it, told them the quotes we were given from other companies, told them ideally what we'd like to stay under. Arranged for someone to be at the condo a few days later at 10am only to be told that the minimum for kitchen remodel is a $15k job, which might be understandable on a house, but not a tiny condo kitchen. Could have easily said that over the phone a few days ago, then we would have just said no and moved onto the next company. They were nice, but $15k would make them

Since I had a great experience with Joseph and his folks install high quality custom cabinets for my garage and mudroom - see my review on March 2017, I decided to have Joseph install custom cabinetry with soft close doors and drawers for my home office. The cabinets store our filing folders, printers, network equipment, and office stuff. My wife wanted the cabinets in contrasting color so she picked light and dark wood stain. As per our request, Joseph and his folks installed hanging file rails for our file drawers. The cabinets are very high quality and sturdy. We got lots of compliments

We hired Yoseph and crew to remodel both our bathrooms after they did an excellent job on our kitchen. We were not disappointed once again. They were very responsive to our needs and willing to add many custom options like our pocket door in the master bathroom. They made sure at least one toilet and shower were hooked up and usable by the time we got home each day. We now recommend Cali Bath and Kitchen to anyone we know looking for a contractor.

I called these guys last week to match my medicine cabinet to the bathroom vanity. They were super nice answering the phone and I got an explanation of what they can do. Pricing and turn around time were very reasonable (even now in the holidays) so I went for it.
Joseph came to my house and took the medicine cabinet, then returned after 4 days to install.
It looks amazing. Really happy with the workmanship.

Joseph and his crew did an amazing job of building a custom bookshelf in our family room. I wanted a bookshelf that matched the stain and style of a bookshelf in another room. The craftsmanship of the bookshelf was incredible. I really appreciated not having to clean up after they were done....they left our family room spotless. I highly recommend them for the price, professionalism, and quality of work.
