Thayer Air Conditioning was officially established in 2015 and is based out of New Braunfels, Texas. However, the real story began long before that. Our HVAC license holder and owner, Chris Thayer, started in the HVAC industry and now has over a decade of experience in servicing New Braunfels and San Antonio residents.

Thayer Air Conditioning is definitely the best A/C servicer in the NB area! You can’t wrong hiring them for all you A/C needs.

Office staff was great. Lira was very knowledgeable and friendly and got me the help I needed right away. The tech was on time and had my A/ C problem diagnosed and fixed in no time at what I thought was a very fair price. Will definitely use them again in the future.

Is it possible to give 6 stars?!? I called at 4pm with no AC to the upstairs of our house. Not only was the technician by the same day but he was knowledgeable and polite. He walked me through everything he was doing to troubleshoot our unit. In the end we needed a new outside unit. I would’ve been more than happy with the level of service at that point, but they went above and beyond. I received a call the next morning with a price quote to include military discount. Before the day was over we had the new unit installed and working. LESS THAN 24 HOURS!!!!

We came home from a trip at 8:45 at night to find that our condensate line was clogged and our house was a sticky 88. We called Thayer and spoke with Ashley who was incredibly professional and kind. She dispatched Louis who arrived at our house in a very timely manner, not only addressed and fixed our issue, but educated us to the proper maintenance steps we need to be taking to prevent this from happening again. The integrity shown by teaching us how to service and upkeep our own units was so refreshing. Louis was kind to us and our children and, by the time he left, the house was already down

Trevor at Thayer AC saved my vacation!! Our AC would not stay cool for our condo. He came at 10.45pm WITH A SMILE and complete professionalism. He was very thorough and explained what was going on. He fixed us up right.. and didn't just band aid it. He was a godsend for us in our HOT time of need. I will definitely keep him and Thayer in mind when I need ac work. They provided a competitive quote quickly and had answers to all my questions. Of the (5) quotes I received Thayer AC had the best warranty program by a long shot AND they had the unit in stock and ready to go with no lead time.
The techs that completed the install (Issac and Ernesto) were very knowledgeable, professional, and well prepared. They did a great job of keeping the work area clean and protected while completing the job in a very reasonable amount of time. These guys take pride in their work and it’s shows
