Our Landscape Design Consultation is a less expensive option to getting a Complete Full Set of, "To Scale" Landscape Plans! If you have much of your own Landscape Design ideas, but you just need a little professional help to to organize your thoughts and finalize your small landscape planting or Hardscape project, then a short home visit from a Professional Landscape Designer may be all you need!
To help out during our current drought situation in California and with the many landscape watering restrictions, we have been installing many drought tolerant "Sustainable" gardens. Take advantage of our knowledge and allow us to show you plant combinations that require less water and add more color to your garden.
These are just a few of the types we have installed. Every Water Feature is different. Our Construction Methods that we have mastered may be the same but No two Water Features are alike! We design and Install the Water Element specifically for you and your home. Our Natural Boulder Waterfalls with Streams and ponds are typically built using a 45 mil EPDM Liner.

We redid our mid century backyard concrete patio recently. Tom, the owner, has a great design sense, is enthusiastic, honest and diligent. He was on the job site everyday supervising his men. Every detail was considered. The crew was very mindful of my property. Tom's experience with concrete is considerable and the final result was excellent. Will definitely have Tom return to do other work.

Horizon Landscaping did an absolutely AMAZING job on our back yard. Amazing.
When he started, our yard was a complete mess. Tom came in and worked with us to create a design that was well beyond our expectations and then came in and executed it quickly, flawlessly, and without any surprises (I should say bad surprises, there were a few good ones).
Horizon terraced and leveled two seating areas, did one in flagstone and the other in DG. They also installed boulders at the terrace walls and around the flagstone. A great touch that really brings it all together.

Horizon Landscaping is a great company. I hired them for a small project in my backyard and like the way that Tom Poplin did business. His team and his forman were especially helpful. Usually you can hire some people and a team shows up that doesn't speak English and you never see the owner but with Horizon, the forman, Matt was helpful and on the job daily. They did great work and I have hired them on to re-landscape a large portion of my backyard and I loved the results.

Tom and Lisbeth are the owners of this company. They are professional enough to show up on time and schedule their work properly. Tom knows his plants and he knows his landscaping. They are not cheap but they deliver. So why two stars off my review? Our problem with them is that it was really hard to move them away from a standard they have stuck to. We wanted a xeriscape, water efficient garden of mostly native plants. They delivered an asian-themed garden as their project.
