Penn Carpentry, LLC is a full service general contractor offering all aspects of residential remodeling including design-build services. Our service area includes much of Metro Atlanta. Since 1997, we have built long-standing relationships with our quality sub-contractors and vendors. We are Georgia licensed residential contractors and carry both general liability and workers compensation insurance, as do all of our sub-contractors.
Greg and Tate are wonderful! I've used them for several medium-sized jobs (2 bathroom remodels that involved moving walls, a paneled library, and a porte cochere addition), and they have done a great job every time. They listen to what you want and do the job right. When the inevitable little problems have cropped up, they have fixed them immediately and without a complaint.

Penn Carpentry renovated the in-law suite in our house on Lakeshore Dr in Lake Claire in 2009-2010 after completing a major renovation of a neighbor's house across the street from our house. My wife and I didn't have the same resources as our neighbor across the street, but Penn Carpentry helped us in every way possible to give us the best product and services for the least price. Briefly, I used their recommended architect to design the project. Their demo team took the in-law suite down to the studs, removed the existing floor. My wife and I have had several projects completed by Penn Carpentry. They are absolutely first rate, and an excellent company. We have an old house (originally built in 1927) and dealing with old and new has to be significantly more challenging than just straight new construction. These guys know what they are doing, inside and out, and their business and work ethics are beyond reproach. I've just completed a fairly large renovation and addition onto my 2-1 bungalow in Decatur. Choosing Penn Carpentry was the best decision I could have made. While all of my friends had nightmare stories to share about their renovation experiences, I had the complete opposite experience. Our project came in on budget and on schedule, with no drama!! I have worked for Penn Carpentry LLC for 15+ years as their electrical contractor. They are a great company to work for. All homeowners should be pleased with their commitment to their customers and sub contractors (subs). Penn's top priority and commitment is to the homeowner they work for, then to their subs. They have high expectations from their subs and hold them to their own high standards. They treat their subs better than any other contractor I work with. I work for approx. 10 contractors/builders. They are by far the best and quickest to pay their subs for work preformed on their projects

I've been searching for a general contractor to complete some home repairs for my moving inspection and it seems nobody likes to follow up on business leads. These "professionals" need to understand that when a client calls to give them money, they need to call back.
