Southern Accents Landscaping was started in 2002 by Jonathan Swilley. As a graduate with an Associates degree in Landscaping & Horticulture, Jonathan has a wealth of knowledge and experience in bringing out the best in lawns and gardens. Jonathan has also studied urban planning and business, so you can count on Southern Accents to give you that yard supremacy you are striving for at a reasonable price.
We professionally design, create and implement a concept that works best for the layout of your property. We install a vast majority of turfs including Zoysia, St. Augustine, Bermuda, and Centipede lawns through sodding or seeding. We use precise treatments that are customized for your individual yard in order to maximize its potential.

We were extremely pleased with the time, talent and work Jonathan Swilley at Southern Accents put into creating a lovely landscape design for the entrance to our neighborhood in Parsley Woods. Jonathan was easy to work with, listened to our committee's ideas and suggestions and willingly shared his expertise. The entrance to our neighborhood has never looked more beautiful. We especially like the seasonality, splashes of color and attractive variety and artistic arrangements of the plants.

Jonathan and Southern Accents were a pleasure to do business with. He responded to my initial inquiry very quickly and set up a time to come discuss ideas for my project. I appreciated that he listened carefully to my ideas, but also wasn't hesitant to make other suggestions or note that a couple of my plantings weren't likely to flourish in Wilmington. Jonathan worked with my existing platings, deleting some, rearranging/relocating others, and creating a cohesive landscape design. He and his crew were very efficient at getting the entire job done in less than 1/2 day and teaching me how to use

Jonathan completed two projects for me. He is professional, responsive and takes pride in his work. He maintained continuous contact with me while I was out of town to ensure my yard was exactly what I wanted. He showed up on time and left a meticulously clean job site.
