Our yard was such a disaster, we couldn't use it at all! We called a few places to get help, but as soon as we met John and Danielle, we were sold!
John, Tim and Brian made our yard so beautiful, we can't stay out of it now! We have young kids and a dog, who were taken nto account when designing and the entire crew were all so nice and patient with them while working! We had a couple of ideas, but not many...John listened to what we wanted and made it even better than we imagined!
We couldn't be happier with our yard and we can't recommend Sculpt Gardens highly enough!

I have had the pleasure of working with Sculpt Gardens on various projects over the past ten years, and have always found them to have a great penchant for designing outdoor spaces that seamlessly fit into the surroundings, while retaining a serene and modern aesthetic. If you are looking for a company to assist with every step of the landscaping process, from design to implementation, look no further as they have created some of the coolest outdoor spaces I have seen in the City. Great experience with Sculpt. John and his team are true craftsman and are very thoughtful about the work. They bring smart design alongside of smart & easy to care for planting. Having been through several construction projects over the past few years, we were somewhat nervous about our final backyard project. John exceeded every expectation from his project management skills, quality of work, follow up diligence etc. The little things were handled well like keeping the garage clean, work area tidy, making sure doors were secure as they were going in and out etc. We love the result and

We hired Sculpt Gardens to give our backyard a makeover. From our very first meeting with John to the end of the project, he was great to work with. He gave us a design plan that was by far the most carefully thought out compared to the handful of other bids we received. John's team is great, and they do beautiful work. John in particular has an artistic eye, and he listened well to how we wanted to use the space. My condo development has been working with Sculpt on a variety of projects, large and small. Despite the difficulties of working with us (it takes a while for us to make decisions because everything has to go through an HOA committee), John has been great. He's been patient and flexible and willing to rework ideas based on our suggestions. He has been helping us to turn some very dysfunctional landscaping into something that we can be proud of.

Had John (owner) come by for an estimate and he showed up on time. I run a small business so timely is super important. He came in a truck that looked like it could handle just about anything which was good because I have a large back yard that needed a total make over. I do not have a green thumb but had some basic ideas of what I wanted. John listened to what I was looking for and said he will come up with some design ideas. He got back to me a few days later with some scetches he created and costs. I had shared with him my rough budget and he gave me 3 different ideas and costs. His designs

John did a great job on our backyard. It was a really big job and John let us do it in stages so that our lives would not be completely disrupted. The design for our multi-terraced yard was pretty complex, but John made it look simple, clean and beautiful. He was very thoughtful in his approach and is extremely detailed oriented. He was very fluid and changed the design as we went on to enhance the original plan. He is very creative and is great at trying to incorporate local plant materials. His crew is also incredible. Sculpt Gardens is amazing. The owner, John Steuernagel, is extremely creative, really easy to work with and came in under budget for our back yard remodel. He first wanted to understand how we were using our outside so he could design something that really worked for us. His people were very respectful and clean...especially at the end of the day - we never felt like we were living in a construction site. It's a small business and we really liked the very personal service.

Just hosted a backyard party yesterday and our backyard got compliments all around. I love the fact that the yard looks great AND requires so little maintenance. Kudos to the Sculpt Gardens team for creating a space that doesn't just age gracefully -- it actually looks better every year. Now that's forward-thinking design!

Update: Worked with John again and had another great experience. Hired John for some concrete work I needed done. Professional, courteous and timely. will be working with him again.
