Repeat Customer over several years.
Archer has proven to be very professional and employs some gifted craftsmen for windows, doors, trim, framing, cabinet installation and more. Jason has been our primary interface and has resolved all emergent and unexpected project issues with integrity.

We own an 1899 farmhouse in need of major remodeling and updating. After I met Jason, I knew Archer was a perfect fit. We started with our very sad, small bathroom. Of course Jason and his team ran into many challenges that homes this age have and it turned out beautiful! After that project was completed, we decided to replace all exterior and storm doors, the decks with safe railings and add a custom high top bar. The end result was incredible.
Not only are they TALENTED, professional and courteous, they did an amazing job cleaning up and organizing the site at the end of each day.

I bought a 1960 brick home in Traverse City on FaceTime. Coming from NM, I lived in my home for 16 years, and I was in better condition when I left than when I bought it.
When I arrived at my new home, I was saddened to see the actual condition. It was close to a complete gut.
Bill Archer was the only contractor out of 5 phone calls that called me back. He made several visits listening to what I needed, as I’ve never taken on a full remodel
After he gave me several bids based on trying to fo the least amount to a full.blown remodel, it was obvious I wanted a home to be proud of

I have used Archer Contracting for two projects now, one small and one very large remodel. Both experiences have met my expectations and then some. Friendly employees and contractors, quality service & workmanship. Would definitely recommend Archer to anyone looking for a great contractor!

Worst Contractor ever. Had insurance claim on bathroom. Less then three months after work completed bathroom started falling apart. Paint starting running off walls, caulk was cracking and coming off. Moldings started falling apart in bathroom and living room. Didn’t use the right bathroom paint, used latex caulk in a bathroom , and installed threshold moldings incorrectly so they have come apart from the floor. I have a three year warranty and he is not honoring it. At this point the insurance company is going after him. They tried to communicate with him but after they sent him pictures which

We used Archer for a commercial remodel project and are extremely pleased with the outcome. From the bidding process to completion, the staff, manager, carpenters and craftsmen were professional and on their game. The timeline and budget were exactly as stated and expected. We were able to re-open our business right on our timeline, which was the most important thing to us. We have had more compliments than we could ever count from our customers on how great the place looks. This really was a fun and satisfying project that couldn't have been done by a better company and crew.

We used Archer to correct the errors of an incompetent builder after years of roof leaks, poor attempts to correct his errors, wall rot due to an improperly installed roof, total replacement of two walls and windows due to poor construction during our remodel. Archer, in all three cases was on time, stayed within budget (small overrun on one), always reported on time for work, kept us informed if there were to be any delays. Cleaned and re-cleaned everything they did. Problems apparently resolved and worked well with our insurance company on the tragic wall rot in new construction (5 years old

A couple years back, my company was contracted to pull cable through a new build-out for a mutual client. We had gotten in to pull the cable through a day or two before the drop tile ceilings and drywall were put in. We showed up a couple days later to see how the overall progress was going, and we found that the painting company Archer hired in had cut multiple cables way back before putting in the drywall instead of just pulling it back. This resulted in having to re-run over a dozen Ethernet pulls throughout the entire building. I notified Scott, the foreman, and while he seemed completely complacent
