I have been a customer of this company for many years. We purchased a new garage door in 2019. We wanted to have our annual maintenance because we like to keep it tuned and in good shape. I have left calls at both phone numbers at least once a week for the past month. There is zero answer or response. If the company is out of business, please let me known so I can find someone else. It's very rude to answer your phone as your company but not return the call.
At any other time I would give them a top rating. I am guessing I am fired as a customer after nearly a decade of faithful patronage

I called Empire about my garage door not working on a Friday. The receptionist said that the could have someone at my house in Scottsdale on Saturday morning between 9 and 12. At 10:20 I receive a call from Tony ( who now I see is the owner} Tony informed me he was on his way. So I guess I expected him to be there within an half hour or so. About 45 minutes later I called back on the line he called me on to find out what time he thought he would be at my house. Tony again said he was on his way that he was on Scottsdale Rd. I'm reasonably handy but this repair seems involved and I figure if it's not done right then the door opener will probably burn out. So I called this company. They had a technician out the same day. Courteous, professional and quick. He knew what he was doing.
The springs they put in look a lot better than the cheesy ones that broke.
Worth the money to get it done right IMO.

I contacted Empire based on Yelp reviews and wasn't please with my experience. I needed new springs (only one was bad but he said to do both) and was given the following price:
$30 Service Charge
$50 Labor Charge
$198 Two Springs
=
$278 for new springs
I gladly paid the mandatory $30 for his time and had another company replace both springs for less than half of their price.

No longer a loyal customer. We had Empire service our garage door on 3 previous occasions over the past few years and called them back because all 3 cases involved a broken spring and we had a lifetime warranty on the spring from the 1st call. We were pleased with the service and prices the first 3 visits but when our door jumped the track on Friday evening 3 days after we had them out for a broken spring they quoted an after hour repair fee of $125 to $350 and had nerve to tell me I was lucky they were sending someone after hours. I went to open the garage door on a Friday afternoon and it wouldn't budge. The opener tried but would stop only after a couple of inches. Looking up, I could see that the torsion spring was broken in two. Dread. I was pretty sure I wouldn't be able to get anyone out so late in the day and I had kids to get to school on Monday.

I found this company on Yelp. They were quick and courteous. Their price was in line with several other companies I called. I did receive a $20 discount for mentioning Yelp. Their lifetime warranty is only honored if you have a service check once a year by Empire for $79 but they will call to remind you. They didn't over-sell us on anything and our door is whisper quiet now. I will be getting the annual check-ups and calling them first if I need anymore assistance with my garage doors.

I have used Empire for years to maintain my garage doors. Recently, I contracted with Empire to replace both both the doors and the openers. Got a great deal and even better service. I am one happy customer. Empire worked with my schedule and sent a very friendly and helpful technician named Jeff when they said they would. He quickly diagnosed the problem and had all the necessary replacement parts with him, so during that initial visit everything was taken care of. I was pleased that the price was reasonable, and I will be calling Empire for future garage door tune-ups or repairs.

Empire is the best. I did a lot of research about garage doors when my door and springs broke. My door buckled and tore the metal in my top two panels. I got quotes from all the "big names" and then I found Empire on Yelp. For what the big guys were charging for two replacement panels, I got an entire new door (4 panels) and two springs. His prices are so great, I even replaced my 12 year opener. Tony and his crew worked with me on finding exactly what I needed.
