Dailey, over her 28 year career, has worked focused on public and Criminal Justice Facilities and has developed as extensive knowledge of their unique requirements.

As Principal Manager of a successful architectural firm, she has managed contracts, for the design and development of facilities ranging in size from $200,000 to over $60 million. A significant number of projects have included facility assessments and additions and remodeling of existing facilities while maintaining continued operation.

We offer our clients an outstanding resource of experience in criminal justice projects adhering to strict schedules and tight budgets. We have an in-depth understanding of correctional design and our Jail designs have been regarded as most innovative in efficiency, economy, and expandability. Our most current project is Karnes Co Jail, Sheriff's Office and Courtroom.
LMD remained organized, professional and dedicated to this project at all times. This project took a very special architect to make it successful and I do not know any other architect that could have outworked Lorraine Dailey. Dailey was able to take the user needs and apply her talents in the design of an extremely functional and efficient facility.
Lorraine M. Dailey required the contractor to provide a makeup schedule as soon as the schedule showed potential delays. Lorraine M. Dailey contacted the insurance company construction consultants who agreed to send supplemental construction superintendents at no cost to the Owner to assist in schedule recovery.
Lorraine M. Dailey was asked to design a new Housing Unit for a 384-bed general population. The layout situates all inmate living and dayrooms around the control room. With direct line of sight into inmate areas, the staff is able to monitor and respond swiftly if the need arises. The building was constructed entirely of precast concrete wall panels and.

Site and feasibility studies are prepared to determine the viability of combining lots and adding onto the existing building versus construction at a new location. LMD is proficient with space planning; which allows for maximum efficiency within minimal space commitments.
