ERN Architects

In I994 Mr. Nelson began practicing as a licensed, professional architect. As a sole practitioner, early projects included roof and building envelope evaluations, space planning and new commercial projects such as restaurants, hotels and shopping centers. In 1996 the business was incorporated and named ERN Architects, Inc.

We offer programming services to help owners meet their spacial needs, keeping in mind their long range expansion goals. We evaluate existing facilities to identify shortcomings and problems in order to develop solutions. We have experience in space planning and design for attorneys, accountants and doctors in both speculative and owner-occupied facilities.

We pursue a scientific approach to problem solving and when needed will assemble and lead a multidisciplinary team of experts to meet our client's expectations. We do Programming. We provide problem solving services to facility and property managers for leaking roofs, window systems, and wall systems.

ERN Architects understands that the basic building blocks of cities are the residential districts. We are supportive of trends to increase density in order to accommodate mass transit, reduce automobile use and re-establish the fundamentals of quality city living. We believe that sustainable, dense urban districts are vital to meeting the needs of rapidly growing urban areas.

ERN Architects is experienced in preparing the National Park Service's Historic Preservation Certification Application. ERN Architects will carefully integrate the application process with the architectural design schedule so that the application accurately reflects the proposed program of the Owner and identifies its impact on the building's features.
