The quoted price for refinishing was very competitive. They made the process as inconvenient as possible and were completely transparent through the whole process. I really appreciate seeing the owners on sight everyday and doing work along side with their crew. The attention to detail and craftsmen ship is excellent. Our floors look better than when they were new and installed by the builder.

I am so grateful that I chose Virginia Top Floors to buff out our hardwood floors. We have a large dog who had done some damage as well as someone who used sticky cleaning solution on our hardwoods.

First time homeowners, we moved into a house that was primarily hardwood - didn't know if we should do anything with them before we bought furniture, so called a few companies to look at the floors and advise. Ileana came out within two days and advised that the floors could go with a "buff and recoat" saving half the cost of a full sand and refinish... very honest!

This company advertises that they do screening (buffing) and re-coating vs refinishing (sanding) hardwood floors. While our family room floor has just a few scratches and dull areas, a board going into the laundry room has a small area of exposed wood. Because of this, Ileana insisted on refinishing the entire floor (sanding, staining, 3 coats of polyurethane). We told her we would accept however the small area of bare wood turned out with no guarantee. She insisted on refinishing (sanding) the floor or she would not take the job. Ileana was the nicest person one could deal with. She told you what to expect, showed up on time, explained what should be done and how she and her team were going to do it. No surprises and no beating around the bush. She started and finished the job in the promised time frame.

The work was top notch and as promised 98% dust free. I was not able to be there, so she sent me photo messages all day on the progress and I did not even have to ask her. This showed me the personal pride and interest she and Jose take in their work and the results more than reflect

Awesome job! We hired Virginia Top Floors to refinish our main level and install wood on the second level bedrooms. Everything matched. They kept a tight scheduled, were clean, respectful and stuck to their estimate. To our surprise the process was practically dustless, something that we were worried about. Virginia Top Floors was recommended to us by another company we were using for other projects in our home. We are in the process of moving and want to have our wood floors repaired, due to wear and tear on the high traffic areas.
