The premiere sneaker and apparel retailer had a desire to elevate their brand while being true to their roots. NOVUS won a 2020 AIA Nevada Merit Award for the project. The jury stated, The project is very efficient with no wasted space, everything is in the right place with thoughtful adjacencies and fenestrations are strategically located to help enforce the concept.
All of this, creating a natural sense of community. The Architect has approached the design carefully and responsibly. We feel that the building design will help promote and facilitate the goals and aspirations of the Core Academy. The expansion of the existing Stardust Event Center at the Blue Chip Hotel & Casino more than doubled the current capacity by adding 16,000 square-feet for stage productions, concerts, conventions, trade shows, exhibitions and more.

Design is a scale-able planning activity based on need and perspective which can be adjusted to fit each design challenge. While Architecture and Interior Design services are typically provided at the micro-scale or 50-foot level, Master Planning activities are typically considered at a broader macro-scale or 5,000-foot level.
