We would NOT recommend this builder. We spent most of a year planning and preparing to build our house with Matt Wittmer. At the 11th hour, when we were ready to sign a contract and submit to the county for a permit, Matt bailed on us. He literally left us at the alter like a jilted bride. He offered no clear reason despite the fact we had spent nine months working with him. If he had a concern or problem, he should have had the decency to communicate it, rather than walk away.

If you are thinking of building a home, I would highly recommend Matt with Wittmer Construction! Matt built our beautiful custom home at Eagle Crest. We even won a couple awards in the 2019 Tour of Homes! Matt is very personable and professional. We were nervous in finding a good contractor that we could trust to build our new home until our first meeting with Matt Wittmer. He and his team are easy to talk to and they quickly instilled a great deal of confidence in us. We can’t say enough wonderful things about Matt and his team. Matt built us a vacation home in downtown Bend and we love it. Matt is about as respectful and honest as anyone you’ll meet.
