When Style Loft Hair Studio's owners were looking for the best Honolulu architect to take their salon above and beyond, they chose District. Style Loft's mission is "to revamp and elevate the hair salon experience for clients and hairstylists alike through positivity and innovation." District knew what to do and took this as inspiration to do the same with their stunningly open floor plan located conveniently right by Ala Moana Shopping Center.
Sweat + Soul is just that-a commercial place that was designed to get in an incredible workout, rejuvenating you in mind, body, and spirit. An incredible amount of thought, planning, and design went into crafting this inviting space that makes customers want to get their work out on. When it comes to building design, District worked its magic to transform a once empty, plain space into a trendy, neat, and minimalist barre gym.
Fashion, design, style-all are about creating unexpected reactions to the simplest aesthetic touches. When We Are Iconic approached District about manifesting a space to showcase their cutting edge clothing store, the ideas started flowing. Shie and Nate Clark have created one of Honolulu's most epic collections of fashion, with inspiration from Los Angeles to New York City to Europe, and even to Australia.
District doesn't just design. This up-and-coming architectural star takes commercial architecture design and mashes it up with the personality of the business they are working with to create a design that gets the town talking, which is exactly what Encore Saloon was looking for. Encore Saloon, an inspiringly hip Mexican Restaurant, located smack dab in the middle of Chinatown in Honolulu, is the new model for casual dining, thanks to District.
