This company should be your first choice in air and heating services in the greater San Gabriel and La Canada area. We had an issue with our furnace that resulted in it blowing air, but not heat. Called In N Out Air based on reviews here on Yelp and I couldn't have been happier with the result.
They were quick to make an appointment convenient for me. Hovik called ahead when he was on his way - arriving early. He examined the system and after checking a few electric connections to ensure power was going where it was supposed to, identified the issue which was the gas feed to the unit, which he immediately corrected.

I had Hovik come take a look at the AC unit in our rental to see if there were any issues. He came by as scheduled and called me right after and told me everything was working great and explained everything in detail. I previously had another HVAC guy do an I inspection and he recommended replacing the unit which would have costed thousands!

I used In N Out Air last year for my ac and heating maintenance. They were reliable then. However, this year they didn't show up or even call for the appointment that I scheduled with them. When I called to inquire if someone was coming out, they called back and Hovik told me that he hurt his back and couldn't do the service. He told me that Anita had called me to cancel my appointment and to reschedule. We've been using In N Out Air for two years based on the good review here, and they have never disappointed us. Hovic the business owner always comes on time, inspects the issues carefully, fixes the problems right away, and explains things to us thoroughly. A couple days ago we found water dripping through the ceiling when we turned on our AC. Hovic came today and after inspection, he informed us the AC is fine, but there's a crack on the roof right next to the AC condensate drain pipe outlet. He helped us add another length of the drain pipe so the water is now led to the gutter instead

My AC wasn't working in the middle of a heat wave, so I called a couple companies who all told me they can come check it out in a week. Then I called In N Out Air. Hovik came the very same day I called, diagnosed the problem and then fixed it in a half hour. He even trimmed my tree back to prevent the problem from reoccuring in the future. The fact that he even had the part in his van felt like a blessing, but he is prepared for anything. Being able to have something done quickly and well feels next to impossible these days, but In N Out Air does exactly that. I highly recommend them.

I wish I could give six stars. One of my compressors went out over the weekend. I left a message for In N Out Air on Sunday night. On Monday morning by 8:30 a.m. they had called me and Hovik was at the house by 11. He immediately (and I mean within two minutes) diagnosed the problem, went to his truck and got the parts and by 12:30 p.m. the compressor was working BETTER than new. Hovik was a pleasure to deal with and obviously knows what he is doing. I was looking for a family run, local business who would give me straight information and have well qualified techs. I got that and more with in N Out and highly recommend them. He showed me how to correctly clean off my outside a/c unit myself to keep it running well and not need service calls. He is third generation in the business and knows what he's talking about. So I did my research and Yelp came again to the rescue.
Everything written about In N out air is 100% true: Hovik deserves his title of "king of AC".
He came on time , put a mask and shoe covers and climbed to the roof. He listened to the unit , opened the panel in 30 seconds after removing the fuse and pulled a piece of metal that was stuck putting the unit out of balance.

I have a 10-year old York HVAC system. I've had a sporadic problem for over a year now. I have previously used four different repair companies. I've spent over $1500 on repairs that didn't fix my system. I did my own research on Google. It suggested replacing the PCP board, not an easy task I guess. Decided to give these guys some business based on their Yelp rating. Absolutely the best decision! Owner goes my one name: Hovik. As a first time customer he and his helper came out to evaluate our HVAC. They replaced a capacitor and topped off the refrigerant and everything is beautiful once again.
Hovik is very knowledgeable and personable. He said that the previously replaced capacitor was a substandard model, a "toy" in his estimation and showed it to me. He replaced it with a heavy duty unit which should last many more years. Now that we are experiencing multiple days of over 100º

"Doctor" Hovik and his apprentice worked on our non-functioning, almost 30-year old Lennox HVAC unit today, and fixed it quickly after taking the time to meticulously determine the root cause of the problem. It turned out that three of the unit's parts were burnt out from a power issue that kind of created a domino effect on each one. Like a surgeon, he replaced them all with OEM ones, and followed all original wiring diagrams to install them.

Hovik saves the day! My A/C went out on Friday. I replaced the fuses, then the capacitor, no luck. Another company's tech came Monday and said the compressor was dead and I needed to replace the whole system ($5K - $6K). I set up appointments with 5 companies to get bids, and Hovik came this morning. He said he didn't want to bid on a replacement system until he understood what was wrong with my existing one. After poking around for less than 5 minutes he said the problem was a burned out contact. He fixed it, cleaned and serviced the system and was all done in 30 minutes for $325. WELL DONE!

Called in n out air two days ago when my heater just stopped working on me. I was hoping someone would be able to come check it out sometime that week because I absolutely cannot stand the cold...the girl over the phone managed to fit me into the schedule right away and hovik came in later that afternoon to get it fixed! We had moved in to our new house recently when I was pregnant and hadn't noticed the downstairs heater wasn't working so our house was pretty much freezing! I called in n out air, told them I had a baby on the way in a few days and they came out the next day to check it out. We had another company out here that told us we had to get a new system but Hovik fixed it for us in a few minutes without having to change anything. Everything has been working perfectly since!

The AC at my business, CrepeStudio in Pasadena went out on me last week and i found them on yelp. I needed someone quick because crepe makers will heat up the entire place without the AC! Hovik came out right away and he was so great, he explained everything that he did and was super fair and affordable on the pricing. I'll be calling for future needs.
