The Metcalf's are a second-generation builder specializing in New Construction properties in the Matanuska Susitna Valley. Metcalf Homes has been building properties in Alaska since 1996. They enjoy working together as a team to bring their clients the best product possible, and hope to one day pass on the legacy to their children as well.

Since starting in Alaska in 1996, the company developed and built the entire neighborhood of Hollywood Hills. They are currently building in Phase 5 of their current neighborhood, Moose Park. With 98 acres and 70 home sites, a park and greenbelt, and everything from starter homes, to amazing custom high-end homes, and even a few multi family projects, this area is sure to have something for everyone.

Floor Plans Report

We have many plans to choose from. We can always alter an existing plan, develop a new one, or build your custom floor plan. We are able and willing to do all we can to accommodate your needs. Give us a call and we will be glad to go over the lots currently available, and help you build your next home.

Moose Park Report

Located off Edlund Road at mile two of Knik Goose Bay Road. To get there take Knik Goose Bay Road to Left on Edlund, to left on Weeping Birch, and you're there. Moose Park features 70 lots that range from 3/4 of an acre to 5 acres. It also includes a wonderful 15 acre future park/greenbelt area for all the homeowners to enjoy.

Hiring a Contractor Report

Choosing the right contractor is the most important decision you will make in your project. Plan for success. Get three bids to gauge the going rate for work. But don't jump at the lowest bid; our surveys have shown that people who hired the lowest bidder generally got poorer work. Choose pros you know.

Ryan Metcalf is extremely easy and understanding to work with. His building process is very high quality with a lot of standards being what is normally considered upgrades. We have built with him 2 times and each time got exactly what we wanted in a house that turned out beautiful! We would highly recommend him to anyone wanting an honest quality builder for their custom home.

We are currently in the process of purchasing a home from the Metcalf’s in Moose Park. They have been so wonderful to work with. This is our first time purchasing a brand new home and it has been the easiest, and least amount of stress involved with our move to Alaska. The home is beautiful and built exactly how our family had envisioned it. Ryan, Shane, Ron and all of their sub contractors have been personable, have went out of their way for our customer service and you can see the care that they put into their craft.

We purchased a new home that another buyer had built and didn't work out for them, but it was perfect for us. Open concept, clean lines, not too fussy; I love his style and attention to quality workmanship. So glad we purchased in this neighborhood and skipped the cookie cutter houses.
