Do not use this company!!
They don’t even use hot water and just made mud out of my carpet. My carpet was disgusting and I had to have a real professional come redo it.
He just literally spins this thing around on the carpet and makes mud.
If I could give 0 stars I would

2 gentleman arrived on time and were very professional and friendly! Both worked efficiently to clean my entry stairwell and two large area rugs...per stains and smell removed and stairs look good as new especially being such a high traffic area. James even left a bottle of his very own spit cleaner. I would use them again!

Soo I was hesitant to write a review.
They were attentive, communicative, responsive. Every question I had they answered. Honestly a GREAT company.
But unfortunately, I only had one issue. It was more my fault than theirs but I didn't know they don't suction out the dirty water after. It's just a rotating pad. It did make vacuuming easier after! My dyson picked up much more after they cleaned my carpet so that's helpful.
I'm a little bit bummed because I did think they'd vacuum beforehand but that wasn't the case either. We bought a house and the previous owners

I only give 3 star... they only use a electric rotary buffing not the industrial carpet cleaner that will wash and vacuum the carpet.... They will wash and clean the carpet but the dirt still will be in the bottom of the carpet... if you really want to clean your carpet all the way I recommend find a professional carpet cleaning ... ask what equipment they use!

Such great work. Jim came out to carpet clean and did an awesome job. They even scheduled me a couple days out to accommodate me with such short notice. He was very professional and answered all my questions. He was also nice enough to leave us some spot cleaner treatment, If you need to have your carpets cleaned.. he’s your guy!

I recently did remodeling in my downstairs and the dust was crazy. My allergies were killing me so I reached out to book carpet cleaning for my upstairs hoping that would help. It totally did the trick!
Jim reached out to give me the quote and even worked with me on coming on two separate occasions doing half one day and half the second day since we didn't want to move furniture downstairs. He was very understanding when I had to reschedule the second session because of work.

I rarely come on Yelp to give someone a review , mainly because it's truly hard to please me. Mac Donald Carpet Cleaning has impressed me. James has amazing customer service, friendly, trust worthy and affordable pricing. He listened to my carpet needs and got the job done efficiently and in a timely manner. DO NOT USE THEM! If I could give them no stars or negative stars I would. They do not know what they are doing! I had them in last Wednesday to clean my carpets - chose them bc of all the good reviews.
They left my family room carpet worse than it was before - they dumped dirty water or soap or something all over it - left dark dirty streaks as you can see in the photo below. The ones near the yellow wall in the photo - that area was underneath my couch and perfectly clean before the came.

I can not say enough good things about this owner and how he conducts business! Not only is his solution safe and surprising effective but he has a level of integrity that a lot of businesses don't always demonstrate.
We just got a puppy and potty training has been tough... I thought we were going to be forced to redo our floors. After 2 sessions the house smells great again and we don't have to sell a kidney to pay for new flooring

Jim was great! I can't think of the individuals name that worked with him on our sectional couch and chairs but both were very professional, prompt, and got the job done. First off let me start off by saying that the miscommunication on him forgetting to inform that he only takes cash or checks was a bit irritating. Because he got agitated trying to figure out how to get paid and was acting slightly like I was not going to pay him even though I had my card in hand ready to pay like I have just about every service I've ever hired. Thankfully we did get that situated thanks to his wife.

So, here's a challenge: your standard poodle consumes an entire bottle of fish oil capsules then urps them on your one-of-a-kind embroidered bench. What to do? Call Jim at MacDonald Carpet Cleaning. Look at that photograph! (Sorry, no before, but you can visualize)
Jim's other assignments were standard bedroom carpets and two wool area rugs. Urine stain, food, shoe dirt, the usual. I waited a week before reviewing to see if any stains ghosted back and voilà! Ghosts excised! No ghosting is worth the price right there!

Jim super nice guy. Did a great job. Love that everything he used is safe and organic. I had a lot of stains in the carpet he got 98% out. The only thing he could not get was some paint that was really in there. Carpet looks way better and cleaner. I will use him again in the future when I need it done again. Also just remembered I had pet urine and stains from dog accidents. He got everything out the urine odor gone which was HUGE. Thanks again Jim.
