I had Steve come out for an estimate for an entire interior painting job and he was very professional.
This company listed handyman services which I need for a few things that need doing before painting and was informed when he got to me they no longer do handyman work.
The estimate was a bit high but the other Yelp reviews were good and I would pay more for quality and less issues!
I am waiting for an estimate from a handyman/painter rather then hire 2 people... I will let you know how it goes!

Its been a long time since I have been so impressed by any contractor or service provider. All I could say was WOW when I saw the beautiful work done. My husband had the same reaction. We needed our popcorn ceilings removed. I did due diligence and got several quotes -- all of which told me what a tough job it is and that they needed at least a week. The thought of it had me in a slight panic. Southern told me they needed three days. Getting the quote was painless and the gentleman that provided it was really super nice. So we chose them. Well .......first day they took the popcorn down

I’m blown away with the workers that came to paint the exterior of my home, which needed a lot of work but they took their time to make sure everything was caulked and sealed. They went above and beyond doing things to perfection. Every time they saw me doing anything they would stop what they were doing to ask me if I needed help, even if it was just carrying my stuff in my house. The price was very reasonable. I will definitely use them again for all my painting needs as well as recommend them to anyone who needs painting done.

From the first contact I realized Southern Sky may not be the typical SFL painter. They responded quickly to my initial inquiry. The estimator was punctual, honest and personable. He delivered the estimate quickly as promised. The estimate was the lowest of the three I received. I contacted the highest bidder to ask how to proceed with the painting (I was very comfortable with the estimator). I never heard back from them. I signed Southern Sky's proposal electronically, paid the deposit and was placed on the schedule. They showed up on time, worked quickly and professionally. Couldn't

I did not have a great experience with Southern Sky Painting. Bob makes it sound like they do "meticulous" work, but they don't. Also added on extra charges at the end ($900), even after clarifying everything before the work was performed. Overall, work was decent, but I can't recommend based on character and price gouging at the end.
They painted the entire interior and exterior of the house. I have painted professionally, and I worked along-side the crew part of the time and was able to point out many other things along the way, that probably wouldn't have been done

Would not hire again. I had Sheetrock patching and interior paint after water damage. Sheet rock was poor to say the least. Large gaps filled with sparkling paste rather than fill with sheet rock and patch in seems so it cracked later. Next to no finish sanding done . Patch work done around outlet plates without removing the plate. After seeing their work I chose to fix the issues myself. Painters not much better, overspray and drips on baseboards, don't take time to mask off properly around cabinet edges and door handles. They did not take time to correct overpaint on cabinets or windows

Amazing and professional! They were able to get almost my entire interior (2300 sq ft) painted in two days. The quality shows in the details. Lines are straight and borders aren't messy. They were also great about the add ons I gave them. Left the house clean and paint splatter free. Everyone from start to finish that I spoke with was super helpful and very nice. Will use them again in the future.

They sent in a very professional crew of three men who carefully prepared the house by putting down plastic, removing Iight fixtures, fan blades, vents, etc. In only one day they removed all the popcorn, sprayed the ceiling with a light texture (called knockdown), removed all the plastic, put back the furniture, and cleaned up everything so that we didn't even have to move out for a few days. These guys just painted my garage. Wow. They were amazing. Everything about this experience was awesome. The owner was super friendly(and she was super nice about the fact I had to reschedule twice), the guys that came were very professional and did an amazing job. What a wonderful experience with a painting company! Would highly, highly recommend, AND we will use again. We had a really tough job, a time crunch before moving into our new home, and they exceeded all expectations. I highly recommend Southern Sky Painting. They were very prompt providing a quote and the work was done when scheduled. Sherry and Diana were very helpful with scheduling and answering questions, etc. Their paint crew led by Luca were very professional and did an excellent job. They willingly came back and took care of a few areas that needed to be touch up. They left the area clean and secure. I will definitely be using them if I have any painting yo be done in the future.

If you want a very professional job, you should call this company. Everything was so professional from the moment I called for an estimate, Bob driving down for the estimate, Ken doing an awesome job, as well as the molding guy and Sherry discussing payment. My crown molding makes all the difference and choice of paint was great. I recommend calling this company if you want a gorgeous, clean job with no drama or excuses, they get the job done!
