Our Story began when Tony Farruggia Sr, originally from Buffalo, New York, came to Tucson when he was offered a job to build a wash at the 49ers Country Club. However, this wash never developed due to permitting. So, Tony started trimming trees and fell in love with the Tucson weather.

Tony's Construction Inc. was established in 1984 by Tony Sr. Throughout the years, he built the company's exceptional reputation through a strong work ethic and a great group of employees. After his eldest son Sam tested for his general engineering license in 2014, they launched Rockridge Construction Company together.
Over the many years, we have equipped ourselves to do the various types of bank protection that we specialize in. We have specialized concrete pumps, specially developed for our kind of work, trucks equipped to handle our pumps and other work needs, numerous small tools for all gabion applications, and different heavy equipment needed for slope protection.
All of projects are tailored to individual needs, based on plans and engineering recommendations. We have a great working relationship with the companies that we do work for. Rockridge has retained all of the original companies that we have started with such as Borderland Construction, O'Leary Construction, Hunter Construction and Granite Construction to name a few.
