I wanted to send a quick thank you. Miguel and his team was courteous, professional, and did a fantastic job with the installation of my sprinkler system and new lawn. From showing me the operation of the zones to the winterizing of the zones and how to do this. My wife had 2 flower beds sprinkled as well. He even finished them off with new dirt and it looks outstanding. I will continue to recommend Cedar County Landscaping for anyone who has any outdoor projects. We have had Cedar County to our house multiple times and they have always been amazing! They’re efficient, reasonable, and do an excellent job. They’ve done everything for us from artificial turf installation, tree removal, planting new shrubs, mulch/gravel refresh, recommending what plants will thrive in our space, and aerating/reseeding our lawn. They’re the best! We even had them build a rock box for our kids (similar to a sand box but with gravel) to play in!

The company sent Dylan to provide a quote. They wasted our precious time visiting our property and discussing projects with us ... BUT they did not email the quotation as promised. This is very unprofessional in business. So we called to follow up to ask about the quotation, the receptionist constantly interrupts and then beware, they will disconnect your call once you try to complain and give them a honest feedback. Luckily I did not hire could not imagine the nightmare.

We were having a hard time finding someone to do some work for us. It was a relatively small area that needed to be leveled out and we didn't have the equipment to do it ourselves. We reached out to four different companies and either the price was astronomical, they were too busy with other larger projects to do ours, or they just never showed up. Cedar County responded to our request a within a few days and had someone out here to give an estimate within a week. We had an amazing experience working with Cedar County! We were having a hard time finding anyone to even call me back about planting some larger trees on a sloped part of our yard. Not only did they pick up the phone when I called the first time but also emailed/text reminders, on time to both the consultation and install and were nothing but professional throughout the entire process. The team from Cedar County Landscaping went above and beyond to install a gravel barrier around my foundation to keep mice out (turns out they will burrow shockingly far down). The result looked great and was exactly to spec. The team addressed minor hiccups flawlessly, and even helped me store the removed soil for a future garden bed and cleaned up the hedge adjacent to the job site so everything looked extra good at the end.

We just had a small project wrap up with these guys and are over the moon at the results. We had a long French drain put in which they did in record time. Today they leveled the lawn and sodded, added bark to all the flower beds. Crew was super professional and came and asked questions whenever they needed to in order to make sure we were 100% happy. They did a walk through with us this afternoon and I have to say I was so impressed. They even fixed a part of the path to the back yard just because they knew it was messed up (been that way for years) and they wanted everything to look perfect.

Be careful - this company WILL refuse responsibility for damage they've caused to your property.

The back of my car was NOT damaged the morning before you guys came out. I just installed a backup camera on the car and would have noticed the paint scratched down to bare metal. The day following your service, it had numerous vertical, parallel scratches, some down to bare metal, on the rear hatch. The side of the car next to a hedge.
There were hedge trimmings on the ground when I noticed the damage Thursday.
You blamed it on "a neighbor walking by". A) that's not a foot path

Happy to share my experience with Cedar County Landscaping. The project was completed the last October but I am posting now after they completed the maintenance work a couple of weeks ago.
They were not the cheapest offer but I decided to work with them after I had a meeting with them in person. The team completed the project exactly what they proposed. And the proposed schedule was much shorter than other's offer.
After the historical heavy rain last winter, the minor issue happen on concrete. Jon promised to fix it as soon as the weather allowed. And everything was done two weeks ago.

We have had Cedar County Landscape complete two projects at our home, separated by 14 months. They have EXCEEDED expectations both times. The first was a rock retaining wall, new sod, and plants. The second was a landscape block retaining wall and extensive property drainage project. Pricing is fair, they really listen to what you want and come up with creative solutions to save cost or improve on what you ask for. We will definitely work with them again.
