Buried knee-hi in buds and blooms, buzzing bees and dirty knees, I followed in the footsteps of my grandmother into her garden through my early childhood years. With each design challenge these early memories emerge bringing me closer again to the scent of the soil and blossoms remembered.
In the years to follow, education in the arts made me aware of the application of the Basic Principles of Design; color/texture/ and shape(size), to any of my art endeavors. Studies in the business of Horticulture then became a part of my adult years.
