I had one of the Ecoshield salesmen come to my house and offer me what appeared to be a reasonable and affordable pest service but I was wrong. According to the agreement that was signed, a member of their team will come out on a quarterly basis to treat and prevent pests which include spiders, ants, mice, etc. Although the team did come out on a quarterly basis, when I brought up that I think I have a mouse problem, the technician quoted me almost a thousand dollars to put down traps, bates, search for and close holes, etc. What I thought was included with my plan appears not to be. If I have a chance I I wouldn't put any stLars the most horrible business I've ever seen in my life the owner will never answer the phone call because he knows that we are unsatisfied clients and we just wanted to talk to him instead he just put our one bill the only bill we have with him to collection!!

A young man came to our door saying his Father is running a new pest control business in PSL, would we be interested. (Instead of using Massey that we trusted and knew they did an excellent job) So we canceled Massey and went with this young man in the hope to help him and his Father. We did inform him we might be moving..." No problem you can cancel anytime" We recently moved and they billed us $200.00 for a cancelation FEE!!!! Just like everyone else on here they used the same tactics on me to get a service contract. The 1st time they were here they did a good job but after that my problem never seemed to go away, it only got worse. I hired them to get rid of my ant problem but it didn't, infact there seemed to more of them after they started treating then before. I have had them out multiple times between our "services" because they won't go away. I have tried to cancel twice but you have to pay a huge fee because of early termination of the contract. I hope that I can give zero star. This is a shame company with poor services! The sales person knocked the door provided fake introduction. I was told no obligation no fees to cancel the contract at any time, I was told the treatment is the full yard, and I was told all the bugs can be gone and 100% full refund if not satisfied. None of the statement was true!
Plus the treatment was not helpful at all, when you terminate the service beware of the hiding cancellation fee!
The customer service and local manager do not care what customer experienced, what they like to do is to keep sending

So far, my experience with EcoShield has been top notch. Daniel Paz came out and did our second treatment today. He arrived well within the scheduled appointment window and provided excellent service with a smile. He took extra steps to make sure I was completely satisfied and even made it a point to make sure I understood everything he was doing and why. Good job Daniel. I feel duped by the sales representative who said this was a small, local business. Also said the cancellation was $100 not $145 but this was clearly laid out in the paperwork so I should have caught it.
First pest control technician said he'd be done in 10 min. I asked why that was the case for 2+ acre yard to which he said that the service only covers 35 feet from the foundation of the home. Ok, I didn't believe when other reviews mentioned the problem of rats appearing after EcoShield services. I thought it was just an unhappy customer. Well, I am joining his ranks. Got a great deal, or so I thought with $500 contract for 4 sprays over a year. After two visits, about 2 months after the 1st service, my back yard Blink cameras recorded rats! Right under my basement window. I have not seen rats in 5 years I am here, and here they are!

I was hoping to provide a five star report. Unfortunately after removing a bald faced hornet's nest they are back. The promise of a next day follow up never occurred. Hence the hornets are back. Ecoshield needs to stop their illegal and intrusive sales practices. Justin from Ecoshield was breaking the law as he continued to solicit homes in my neighborhood after being asked to leave on 7/26/21. A clear "No Soliciting" sign is posted at the entrance to the community.
Fairfax County Code: Fairfax County requires peddlers and solicitors be licensed before they solicit door to door. They may solicit only between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m., and may not solicit at a residence which posts a "No Peddlers or Solicitors" sign.

Charges usually 30% higher than other vendors.
DO NOT trust any discounts as they would charge you back when you cancel the service.

UPDATE: The EcoShield Business Manager responded below indicated that their company did not have anyone named Dillon working for them. However, several other reviews over the past few months also mention this person, by name, as not only representing them for sales but also completing pest control work in their home. This response indicates much about this company. Also, our HOA has contacted EcoShield and informed them that they are not welcome in our neighborhood (Sales). This means if they return doing door-to-door soliciting, they are trespassing. Bravo.

These guys are clearly trained on a common script, introducing themselves to get first names to then name drop up the street as if we are customers. The sales guy introduced himself to me to say he was treating two different neighbors houses on my street (used neighbors' names). I asked for a card and he claimed he always had business cards, but just didn't today (another common theme amongst reviewers). A representative came to our door today stating that others in the neighborhood use this service. I have NEVER seen their truck in our area. They came to the door with no mask or name tag or anything. The guy told my son that "by law" he has to speak with the parents of this home. We then pointed to the No Solicting sign and he proceeded to ignore it till my son reiterated it again.
