My recent move with Kingdom Movers was, by far, the worst moving experience I have ever had.
I have relocated 14 times in my adult life, 11 of which were out of state moves, and my move from Lenexa into a storage unit was an absolute nightmare using Kingdom Movers.
The short list;
1. No truck on moving day
2. Did not have 3 guys available on moving day
3. Moving day rescheduled
4. 2nd Moving day had 16' truck instead of 26' that was quoted
5. Showed up at the wrong storage facility
6. Left my area rugs in the rain
7. Abandoned my belongings unlocked and unattended overnight and

We are so impressed with the service provided by Kingdom Movers in our recent move. More importantly, at least to us, was that we didn't hear one complaint from any of the movers, even though we had some very heavy and awkward items to move. All of them were very pleasant and personable, so much so that we gave them all an invite to visit us at our new home. Stellar company, we'll be contacting them for our next move!

Just finished a pack, move out and move back after a home remodel. You need to determine whether you are actually getting value when working with this company. I decided to contract with them after one of the contractors working with us referred them to us.
Had I read the reviews on Google - including the negative ones because they tell you the true story - I may have reconsidered working with them.
Prior to the move, we had the owner John come to our house to do a walkthrough of the items to be moved, including appliances. He appeared to take notes and pictures.

They were good, caring, polite, respectful, God fearing people, the young Lady even prayed over our new home and our family and that was more important to us then the cost, the whole connection was God lead amen.

Kingdom Movers assisted us with a last minute move that when asking them if they could help us short notice; the response was; "ABSOLUTELY" John has stamina like we've never seen. He knows how to pack, and load a truck like it's a puzzle. He and his team are polite & hard working movers. They take pride in their work and it shows. We would hire them again for sure. They were an absolute God sent. We appreciate that they helped lift the heavy load and MOST of all, we LOVE that they are devoted to serving GOD as they live out their profession. As a former employee of Kingdom Movers I would vouch for John and his company any day. I worked with Kingdom Movers for two years and enjoyed the work immensely. When the owner of a company works with you on many jobs to me that says something about them. I can't recommend these guys enough! Prompt, professional, powerhouses- got a 12-hour job done in half the time, and having never used movers before they were patient with us and knowledgeable about everything we were questioning.
Great, down to earth, hardworking crew. I'm never going back to moving my own stuff again- while I don't hope to be moving again soon, I'll be calling these guys again when I'm ready to!

Excellent experience. I am military doing a DITY, and Kingdom responded quickly with availability exactly when I needed it. I live on base and they were able to provide three men who wouldn't be barred from entry. They were professional and efficient moving my items. They listened to what items were staying, what items were fragile, and always followed up with questions of anything needed clarified. Job well done IMO.

I found Kingdom Movers through their Craigslist posting. When I spoke to the owner a couple of weeks before the job, I specifically asked if they were experienced with moving pianos and I was assured they are. The owner explained that a four-wheel dolly would be used.
My belongings needed only to be moved from a storage unit into a truck, and the job took about one hour. John says they are a christian company until there are problems and then his true colors shine with excuses, denials and lies.
**WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM FOR ANYONE AND AM REALLY NOT SURE THEY ARE BONDED AND… INSURED**
John came for the moving bid. We stated we wanted all the heavy furniture to be taken. He gave a bid one load across Kansas city for $1200 + for everthing which he wrote down (at least appeared to be) and would fit in one truck.
Day of the move - Movers called all afternoon (after 1pm) and said a few times were running late and running even later than predicted. Finally got

John and his team are simply the best. They did an all day/night move on a large house of ours. They worked super hard on a hot day. Have John pack the truck as he's a master packer and that saves time/money. They were very careful and didn't break anything valuable. From small to big, they can handle local KC moves very well. John is mature and responsible and clean cut. His guys are super polite and great packers too. They rent U-Haul trucks which keep the price down as well.
