With literally thousands of different paint colors and finishing styles to select from, choosing the perfect combination for your room or home can be overwhelming. In fact, many clients that we work with have painted only white throughout their homes, simply because they didn't know what else to do.
In many homes, the interior paint colors and quality might be fine, but the cabinets are out-of-date. If your cabinets are in good condition, there's no reason to waste your budget on replacing them completely; instead, consider simply refinishing them. Especially with older cabinets, they are generally constructed really well, with excellent materials, and just need to be updated to match the style of your home.

I received quotes from several companies DJS was in the middle of the pack as far as cost but offered more for the money. This included a color consultant and them painting 4 test colors on the house before we made the final selection. These guys are courteous, on time and do what they say they will do. The quality of work was excellent. Thomas (the owner's nephew) was the lead on our job and works extremely hard. This all comes with a five year guarantee. Would definitely use them again.

We first had DJS paint our house in San Jose when we were getting ready to sell. They were wonderful and the job was perfect. From the estimate to color consultation to the crew to the final walk through.
There was no question that when we needed our new house painted that they would be the ones who we would call. This job was more complicated with half the house being cedar shingles and half being hardiboard siding. The house was three levels with a deck that they also sanded and refinished.

DJS Painting is my new go-to Painter for all my painting (and staining) needs. I recently used them on two projects - sand/strip/stain/varnish my front door, and a full interior repaint of a medical office after interior renovations. They worked through their process for both projects: Color selections, test swatches, then schedule and work through to completion. They were on-time and on-budget, and the results were beautiful. From the estimate with Don to the finished product of having our two story home's exterior painted with Russell at the helm, we are very happy campers. Their painting crew was very respectful and had great attention to detail. It was great to be able to trust that all details or possible changes could be accommodated. We had the outside of our house painted first and it is wonderful. We get tons of compliments. The crew was efficient and clean and wearing masks. DJS painted the interior and exterior of our house leading up to our open house. Initially they said it would take 5-7 working days, but finished in just under 5 which gave us back valuable time to get ready. Not only were they reasonably priced, super professional, incredibly communicative & respectful; they did a FANTASTIC job!! All of the guys on the crew went out of their way to make sure things went smoothly. Our house looks amazing, and we got a lot of compliments from neighbors, at least one of whom is planning on using them to paint her house. Not sure when I'll need to use them again,

I live in an apartment and had painted a large tree on a bedroom wall. Before I moved I had to paint it back to the original color. Russell was able to tell the color right away. He and Jerry came over and painted it, within my deadline, without a problem. It was quick and easy to work with them. Plus the outcome was perfect! The color matched and you could not tell I had painted anything on the wall.
