This roofing company is the real deal. They were super knowledgeable about roofing and noticed the way the gutter on one side was hanging that accurately indicated that some of the underlying plywood needed to be replaced. They also mentioned that the basement was most likely wet most of the time because the down spouts did not carry the water away from the house. If I had gone with one of the other roofing companies I don’t know if they would have actually fixed the problem or just shingled it over for a temporary fix. The owner was easy to talk with and they cleaned up everything before they

I found them friendly and easy to work with. They installed a new roof on my single family colonial house. It was not a difficult job, but I liked that they only used top notch materials that have a very long warrantee and they also have a guarantee on labor which told me that they have confidence in their own work. The south side of the roof was in really bad shape and the roofer told me the north side could have survived another year or two, but I decided to replace the whole roof at one time because it was less expensive in the long run to do the whole job at once. I recently helped an elderly relative in New Haven hire a roofing company. She need some patching where asphalt tiles had essentially disintegrated from the sun. (The roof is in bad shape, but because of the winter it was not possible to replace the whole roof.) Giant roofing was not the cheapest of the bids I got but they were very close. The owner seemed trustworthy to not skimp on material and it was obvious he had done this work many, many times. They showed up when they said they would, did the work, and the leak stopped. I would rate them as trustworthy and more than competent in roof repair
