Speir Bryant got his start in the industry at a young age as a marine carpenter. Working for one of the finest craftsmen in Jacksonville, he quickly became a master carpenter. After ten years in the custom boat-building industry, he moved onto homes. For the next ten years, he worked in some of the finest homes in the Greater Jacksonville area.

W. S. Builders recently completed a kitchen and bathroom renovation for us and I have nothing but praise for their work. I had heard some pretty scary stories from friends about renovations and I am happy to say that our new kitchen and bathroom were completed two weeks ahead of schedule. Not only was Speir and his crew dependable and efficient, but the quality of the work done was excellent.

I was anxious about living thru a remodel with two children and being without a kitchen... and Heather and Speir Bryant were absolutely amazing, professional, helpful, insightful and truly delightful thru the entire project ... start to finish. Speir and Heather of W.S. Builders changed our house and our lives. It is like our 100 year old Avondale home was designed around our family, because now it is.
Speir and Heather designed and executed an innovative whole house renovation that changed the flow of the house and captured new spaces. The budget focused on form and function and included relocating the kitchen to the opposite side of the house, adding a bar area and walk in pantry, moving the laundry upstairs, expanding the master bath and closet and restoring original floors. It is amazing. Additionally they managed all the regulations

Speir and Heather Bryant gave me the kitchen of my dreams. It was exactly what I wanted. I live in a 100 year old historic home and the kitchen was terrible— Speir had to basically rebuild it from the ground up due to a terrible addition/renovation back in the 1980s. There was wood rot, unstable support beams, you name it. Speir even did a lot of the woodworking himself to get it right. The care and personal touches that Heather applied really gave the end result a custom appearance and my home and kitchen were featured on the Holiday Tour of Homes. For seven years now, I have used Speir Bryant and W.S. Builders to do my real estate repair work. I have sold real estate in the greater Jacksonville area for 35 years and have had such a great experience working with W.S. Builders. They are reliable, fast and reasonably priced. I have never had to worry that the job would be done correctly. And the upside for my clients, of using a licensed contractor is that they have been able to go on and use him to remodel their kitchens, bathrooms, etc. W.S. Builders is one stop shopping.

We used WS Builders to renovate our home. They are an excellent company and did an outstanding job. Speir Bryant and his team are professional, dependable and experts in their field.
