R. Short Roofing replaced my 25-year-old roof yesterday, and I couldn't be more thrilled with their work. We had our new roof for a full year now. We've experienced a fair number of gale force winds and just recently the near miss tornado. Nothing has moved
The sales rep had made a claim that the temp in the attic would improve by ten degrees in both winter and summer. IT WAS TRUE!
We have made other improvements to our home since R Short did their work.
R Short did the MOST complete cleanup of any crew we've had on our property.

We went with R Short roofing based on others recommendation via NextDoor. We had a piece of flashing fall off the side our house during a bad storm. We called him, sent him a photo, he gave us a quote (much more reasonable than say.. Paddy's?would have had to sell an organ to afford them). Anyways, his guys came out and fixed it under 20 mins.
So, if you're looking for a good small business to take care of you, give him a chance!

R. Short really had their work cut out for them! I had a DIFFERENT contractor 6 years prior put on a new roof. Since then my garage leaked! They would come out every few months and caulk it. I was very defeated until someone from the same company came out and told me I needed new siding and smaller windows up away from the roof. He explained that they couldn't put proper flashing on my roof. Why this wasn't explained to me 6 years ago...I have no idea. I went with their most expensive option. I did not want this company to do anymore work....

I am thrilled that we went with R Short Roofing for our house. There are the "big boys" who will charge you an arm, a leg, a first-born and there are the fly-by-night roofers where their warranty will be moot because they will be out of business well before then. R Short Roofing is one of the companies that occupy the sweet spot in the middle -- trustworthy, good workmanship, extremely fair pricing. When there was bad weather leading up to our job, Ralph's crew came on a Sunday to get the job done in good time. This mattered since we had a leak. When there were a few minor items on the back end

Ralph and his whole crew are hands down the best roofers in the area,always prompt courteous service,they know what they are doing and they get it done fast. I have had 2 roof installs done with Ralph,one for my business and one for my personal home and each project was done exactly when they say it will be and always done ahead of schedule. I recommend them to everyone I know for estimates,repairs and full replacements.

Absolutely the BEST roofing company. Excellent workmanship and pricing! The owner is extremely nice and very hands on. We had our entire roof replaced in April due to a storm. It was our first time ever putting in a claim with our homeowners insurance and he made it very easy - even going out of his way to make sure he was here when State Farm stopped by for the appraisal.
