Some HVAC problems can double your operating costs, increasing your yearly utility bills without reducing your comfort level. Up to 80% of all HVAC compressor failures could be eliminated if the problems that led to the failure were found and eliminated in a timely manner. A Freon (refrigerant) undercharge of only 10% can increase your operating costs by 20% or more.

Freon should never need to be replaced; it has no known shelf life. If it must be added every year, there is an expensive leak that should be found and repaired. A dirty evaporator, condenser, or blower wheel could increase electrical usage by 50% or more. Just a 100th of an inch of dirt or film on an evaporator coil can reduce efficiency up to 15%.

After 20+ successful years in the Northern Neck Area of Virginia, covering both the local Maryland and Virginia areas, I have moved to the Lake Gaston Community. I now live full time on Poplar Creek in Brunswick County. I absolutely love this area and have decided to bring the same commitment to Lake Gaston HVAC that made B&B HVAC successful.
Lake Gaston HVAC installs, repairs, and provides preventive maintenance services for all types of heating and cooling equipment. We service everything from boilers, heat pumps, oil furnaces, and gas furnaces. We also install oil tanks, hot water heaters, replacement sump pumps and duct systems.
Lake Gaston HVAC is pleased to offer choices to our customers to help in the payment process. We accept both Visa and MasterCard credit cards. Or, you may choose to finance a portion or all of the cost of your new system through Wells Fargo Financial National Bank. Your Comfort Consultant will discuss these options with you and provide the appropriate codes/forms needed for the financing packages.

After multiple calls to other HVAC contractors here at the lake for two months - 6 years ago - Multiple no shows, no follow up, and crappy service. Got a referral to Lake Gaston HVAC and have not had to go anywhere else. I have two homes on the lake for the last several years in the process of multiple renovations. I call on Pat for all my HVAC needs. For all my yearly maintenance, and referrals out, nobody has done a better job for me, and Im a contractor.

I meant to post this a week ago, but things got a bit busy.
I want to start by saying that my AC went out recently...warmest two days we had this spring. We made a call to Lake Gaston HVAC and set up an appointment for when we would be back to the lake. He worked around our schedule and and showed up earlier than planned.
His knowledge of the systems was incredible as I was just trained in the history of my insufficient unit I had in place. He provided me with two options of which my wife and I went with option 2. Option 1 was to refull the freon again, which should not be leaking. We bought

Very pleased with Pat's service!
He came by,short notice, before Memorial Day weekend to check on a unit that we thought was not working properly. As it turned out it was just fine. Never charged me for that visit!!
I did schedule him to come back and check all my units(4) for maintenance. He did a great job checking and cleaning as well as educating me on a few things. I plan on having LKG HVAC as my 'go to' Company for my systems. Debbie ( office manager and wife) was great too. She helped schedule Pat and kept me informed when he was on his way. Never had better service they have been there several times in a moments notice to get our system up in running in a short time ..The contract is a plus as you will always know your system is in good operating order. and if you have a maint. problem you will always be first to have a problem solved.

Great service! Lost heat on a Sunday during recent single digit cold spell. Called Monday morning, Pat called right back, and was at my house that morning, needed new system. Not great news, but got it replaced Tuesday, the next day!! Professional, kind, and explained everything well. Highly recommend this place!
