This was the best home improvement company I have ever worked with. Professional. Not pushy. Great quality. Attentive to detail. Receptive to feedback and requests for minor adjustments. Helpful recommendations without pressuring the customer into more renovations. We will continue to work with them on further renovations and recommend to anyone in the area.
This project was a to design and rebuild a new kitchen using the space and maximize total square footage. In this project, we worked with the owner to maximize space, removing a wall in order to make a larger master bathroom and make it more useful and attractive. We worked with the owner and designer to build a two bedrooms suite, including adding closet space for both suites and access to bathroom.

I waited over a week for Russell's quote, he said he would come one day after another but never turned up.
I needed to shortlist contractors and wanted to include him, but when I called he became rude, foul mouth, swearing.
Surprised to find him own checkatrade and had good reviews, not seem what he really is.

The team at SR Home Improvement did an excellent job for us on a wide spanning project. Their entire team was courteous, easy to work with, and very good at explaining each step of the project as it moved along.
In addition, I've never had a crew take such care at the beginning of a project ensuring that our entire house was protected from the dust/paint/debris for the upcoming project (all floors / counters fully protected before anything started).
I can't recommend them highly enough for any home improvement project you have!

SR Home Improvements LLC saved the day when a simple replacement of a kitchen sink revealed many problems. They responded quickly and got to work. The original builders of the home didn't level the kitchen cabinets so the granite cracked. SR Home Improvements worked with me to fix the cabinets, replace the granite, install the new sink and garbage disposal and helped me modernize my kitchen. The staff was friendly, helpful, and have fantastic communication skills. They kept me in the loop on everything going on and answered all of my questions. I will definitely use them again and recommend them

I had them remodel my TH in Burke VA. They were reasonably priced and I believe the quality of their work allowed us sell our home for well over asking. The drywall and paint quality alone was worth it.

The whole team at SR Home Improvements was just fantastic! They helped us build out a room in our basement that had previously been unfinished. They even built my dream "nook" under the stairs! It turned out absolutely amazing! They were VERY responsive to any questions or concerns we had, from Carlos to Melissa & Sam in the office! While awaiting closing on our new house we worked with Melissa and the team at SR to determine that the changes we wanted to make (close up an open living room with French doors to create a study and take down a pony wall separating the kitchen and family rooms) were possible and they could meet us at the house right after closing to give us a proper estimate. They committed to starting the project right away so that the work would be done before we moved in several days later.

I might have hired this company for the wrong job. But I know for sure I would advise against hiring them for any bathroom or tiling job. Firstly, just a few months into the repair I had a minor leak in the bathroom where water very quickly leaked all the way to the ceiling below. What kind of caulking job should I expect from a licensed contractor? Definitely better than that. During the job there were a lot of misunderstandings, some that were partly due to my lack of availability, but it explains a lot when you are not able to rely on the contractor. Sam and his crew are AMAZING! I called Sam to do an interior paint job on a tight turnaround time. His team was so professional and detail oriented that I also hired him for some drywalling, flooring/trim work, chimney caulking, and exterior painting. Every project was done incredibly well and on right on schedule (even when the schedule was tight). I am so happy with the interior and exterior work he's done for us!

I had SR Home Improvements paint four sets of shutters on my home. They were very easy to work with and got the job done well. They were also very responsive to questions electronically and fairly prices. Some other contractors were way over-priced for the same job. I would definitely use then again.

I hired SR for some painting - they did a great job on the work and the pricing was fairly reasonable. My only complaint is actually their lack of responsiveness- took a really long time to get my refund because I overpaid for the job. But otherwise, they are very fairly priced - 3 rooms and trim for $1700- which is the average in this area

I've hired Sam and his team a number of times for smaller projects (replacing garbage disposal, patching up walls, recaulking windows, etc.). Sam is really easy to get a hold of by phone or email, and will take time to fit in the work I need done within the timeframe that works best for me.
I'll continue to work with SR Home Improvements, as everyone is polite, professional, and the rates are extremely reasonable.
