I schedule a time for tree service in November for a date in January. 2 weeks before the scheduled date I called to verify. 1 week before I called again to verify the day and time because I needed to take off work. All was verified. Thursday, January 13, 8-9 AM.
I removed my Carport cover, removed trash cans from the side of the house and waited. At 10:40 AM I called and asked if they were coming. The, not so informed Rachel said “ Oh when they haven’t finished the day before they go back to that job first. They should be there after lunch.”
No call from anyone! At 3:11 I called the office

Shaw tree service was one of a few places we called trying to get a quote for a water oak removal in our backyard. They gave us a reasonable quote during the week of a hurricane while other companies were trying to price gauge. However we weren’t able to get on the schedule until about a month later which is understandable. When mike and his team came out, it took them about 2 days to cut down the tree and remove all debris. They did a great job of cleaning up debris!! Do not trust this company .They did not grind my stumps and would not give me a refund. They printed a fake bill with the wrrong advsior. I used them for a second time. The first time everything went okay. They fired the first receptionist after she had agreed with me.

Called Monday to schedule an estimate. Asked for the appointment to be scheduled for Thursday as I am off work that day. Tuesday morning I get a call from a guy saying he’s at my house and that I’m not answering. After explaining that is because I requested my appointment to be Thursday and that I was at work he tells me “oh well the notes don’t say that”. Okay. He then tells me that he’ll send me a quote for what I’ve requested. I asked for a 30ft tree to be cut and grinding the stump, a stump next to it that’s is maybe 3 ft tall to also be ground, and to trim a couple branches

Contracted Shaw's for some tree removal and trimming on our business property. Quote for the job was received in a timely manner, but then it took 60 days for the services to start (30 days later than they initially told us) and then didn't complete the work until we consistently hounded them about finishing. Upon completion of work invoice was NOT sent to my company, but to a random email that was never given to them. My accounts payable department then received a damning phone call from Shaw's threatening an NTO for lack of payment. It's hard to pay for something when you don't have an invoice

Great bunch of guys! Seriously, an awesome crew of guys came to the house took care of the trees, cleaned up, and left a clean yard. We had a small misunderstanding, but it was fixed immediately by the guys and office. Looking forward to doing business with these guys in the future.
