LMG Architects can be traced back to Atlanta, Georgia in 2005. LMG's co-founder Lura Godfrey worked at a mid-size design firm focused mostly on schools and churches. Lura was doing great work but had lost touch with the aspects of design that she really loved. Lura knew she needed to venture off in pursuit of a career that felt more personal; so she founded LDG Design, a small design studio focused on residential additions and renovations.
We celebrate each other's wins, hold each other accountable, and genuinely care for each other. The way we interact with one another shapes the way we interact with our clients. We strive to create a culture of openness, respect, and accountability in every scenario. We like helping people, we're passionate about making architecture approachable for everyone, and we love solving design problems.
