I'm Marlon Ordonez, Owner of Island Home Builders Inc. and I would like to build your new home in Hawaii! I am a licensed and bonded General Contractor in the State of Hawaii and take extreme great pride in all of my work. I was raised on the island of Maui and attended Maui Community College for four years where I enrolled in the Hawaii Carpenter Union Apprentice program in 1987.

Marlon from Island Home Builders, built my home in Milolii. After a significant amount of interviews I chose Marlon as my contractor for a number of reasons. He was highly recommended and was very thorough with his plans for my home, the associated costs, the time frame, the general pros and cons of building on the water’s edge. Due to his experience he was able to make recommendations that ultimately proved very important.

My wife and I purchased a vacant lot in Kailua Kona in 2013, with the ultimate goal of building our retirement home. At the time we were living and working in Colorado. We made several trips to the big island, and we were not satisfied with the several local builders we interviewed. In 2017 we contacted Island Home Builders Inc., and asked for a construction bid based on our home plans. We found Marlon to be very responsive. He contacted us, and our architect to clarify items on our plans prior to providing his bid. His attention to detail, and communicative nature quickly helped put us at ease
