Holsbeke Construction quickly became a well-known residential contractor throughout Metro Detroit. Ray's son, Christopher, joined the company as a partner in 1984 after years of working with his father.

I regret ever hiring Holsbeke to tear out my old patio and pour a new one. The lack of care the owner (Chris Jr.) and the project manager (Tom) showed was unbelievable. The patio tear out should have been straightforward but resulted in damaged brick and a chipped foundation. What bothered me more than the damage was, instead of letting me know when it first happened, they left it up to me to find it when the tear out was completed. They eventually got around to patching up the area 2 months later when they poured the patio which is where the biggest disappointment came.

I made an appointment over a week ago for an estimate. I was given the "between 9/10". At 9:45 I called to check on the estimators ETA as like most people on the planet I have a very busy life. I was told that the estimators had nothing on their schedules for today, would I like to reschedule for next Tuesday?
ARE YOU KIDDING ME? It was only after I stated that I would not be rescheduling that I was given an apology.

I would NEVER recommend this company! They do not stand by their product or services. I had a cement driveway put in 2 years ago and it has been chipping & pitting since. Now it looks like mini potholes scattered throughout! It took several calls to get them to come out and the owner said "theres nothing they can do"! Claims its from the salt from the winter! Several neighbors who had other cement companies do their driveways DO NOT have any problems!!
