Our principals are actively involved in all the aspects of each project, interacting with clients, staff, and consultants to create quality, innovative and sustainable buildings and environments that surpass our clients' expectations. For over 55 years we have satisfied our clients' needs by delivering safe, inviting and efficient spaces in the form of K-12, higher education, commercial, retail, government, and healthcare facilities.

We are a company that strives to maintain a positive and instructive work environment where employees can increase their knowledge and creativity, while ultimately increasing their value to the company and to themselves.
Services
In 1935 Herb Goodpastor established an Architecture Office in Sacramento, California. He transferred ownership to George Higgins around 1949 - the "H" in HMR. HMR Architects became HMR Architects, Inc. in 1982 when Eric Mifkovic became The Firm's President. Upon graduating from U.C. Berkley in 1988, Scott Pullen joined HMR Architects, Inc. and is now The Firm's current President.
HMR Architects, Inc. provides a work environment conducive to improving one's self while simultaneously adding value to The Firm. Our goal is to mentor, encourage, and support employee development in all positions. We offer healthcare, retirement, and many "perks" including licensing and some educational reimbursements.

We chose this company to help out in the design of our project they lied about their abilities, they don't tell you the total cost and string you along ! They outsource everything and just take money for outsourcing! They waste your time and overcharge you with the services that someone else is doing for them without telling you ! Their design was written by hand and they charged arm and leg for it! We found some who cares and charge reasonable and we fired this inapt group but they charge for the services anyway ! They are criminal and their licenses if they have any should be taken away
