Tri-Hurst Construction had its early beginnings in 1963 when Scott Hurst went into business for himself under the name of Hurst Cabinet Shop. As the company grew the name was changed to Hurst Construction in 1976 and the emphasis changed from cabinet and residential work to commercial building.
In 1987 the business was incorporated under the laws of the State of Utah with another name change to Tri-Hurst Construction, Inc. Joe Hurst retained sole ownership in 2005.Tri- Hurst Construction prides itself on its years of providing quality building construction services to San Juan County. Projects have included schools, medical facilities, churches, retail stores, warehouses and industrial buildings.
With a deep commitment to the growth of San Juan County, Tri-Hurst has chosen to limit its operations to the immediate area. By doing so it has developed a great deal of expertise in working with the challenges of rural and isolated job sites. The personal commitment of the owner and staff to the area leads to a personal interest, beyond contractual requirements, to quality workmanship and pride in the outcome of all projects.
