VERY SATISFIED Mason Tree Service was cutting down trees at a house behind us. My husband went over and the owner George Mason happened to be there dropping some equipment. Explained we had 2 very large trees close to our home that needed to come down, they walked over to our house immediately, gave us a quote, shook hands and said they'd be back the next day to do the work. They were there as promised and worked from 8 am until almost 6 pm cutting down the trees, cutting up some of the smaller limbs for us for firewood, and grinding the stumps. All with precision and smiles in 93 degree heat

We had a huge branch unexpectedly fall last week and it completely destroyed our children's playhouse. We called multiple companies and Mason's Tree Service was the only one that returned our call. George came out on a Saturday and gave us a reasonable quote and had his team out here by the following Tuesday. George inspected all trees on our property, we had 3 large tree branches removed and a tree out front trimmed. His crew went above and beyond. We asked to have some of the wood cut into smaller pieces for firewood and set off to the side, and instead of placing them off to the side they nicely

I really want to write these guys a good review because they were recommended to us but the service I received makes it so I can't. They took my money and did not completer the work. They did come and remove two large trees from my back yard but they advised they would come back for stump grinding and never did. I had dig safe come out and ensure it was safe for them and they tried to use that as an excuse and then they just stopped returning my calls. I was told repeatedly that George would call me back then never did and I had to stop using my own phone because they wouldn't answer

Mason’s Tree Service is a professional and reliable company that provided excellent customer service to me. George surveyed my property the same day I called him, then had his employees at my house the next day to cut my tree. His employees were professional and cleaned up my yard to the point that I could not tell that a tree had just been cut. If you’re looking for a reliable company that charges a reasonable price, this is your best choice!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND Masons Tree Service to anyone looking for a professional and responsible tree service in the Hampton Roads area. Tuesday morning I woke up to a heavy a quipment trailer and And pick up truck parked in the grass of my front yard and also noticed that they had backed a bulldozer off the trailer in the grass of my front yard so I went over 3 houses down the street and asked politely why they were parking in my yard and to get their quipment and vehicles and trailer off of my grass And was told by David that it would happen right away. Instead of them moving the trailer right away

We had the pleasure of working with George, Lewis, Dave and Caleb. So professional. We had a large tree that came over our home and detached garage. Well (Tarzan) Lewis climbed up that tree and removed it so smoothly, peice by peice. Dave and Caleb were both right there to help lower everything down safely. Every interaction was a pleasure with George and we would highly recommend Mason's Tree Service. Our neighbor already took their number and I am sure more will follow. I had 3 trees break in half. One wrecked my roof, two dangled dangerously over my driveway. I called Mason's Tree Service and they were here within hours, even though they had other calls because of the storm. They quickly removed the dangerous broken trees. They did a great job. They are so reasonably priced! I actually had to make them take higher pay for the work they did. I highly recommend this company to anyone that needs tree work.

George came out the same day I contacted him for a quote. He provided a very fair price for the removal of a large oak tree in our front yard. The crew was out by the end of that week and did a nice job of cleaning up our yard and protecting it during the removal of tree. Mason’s Tree Service did an outstanding job at our house today. They trimmed back several large limbs from a few different trees that were starting to hang over the roof, plus some limbs that had been rubbing against another tree. When they finished, you almost couldn’t tell the trees had been trimmed, except that the they all looked way better and were totally clear of the house. The crew is definitely made up of experts. Highly satisfied with the work we got for our money, they work fast and clean and very professional the price we where given was the best we got 3 different quotes from different tree cutting businesses. Marvellous! Had many people (over 20 yrs) to do tree and hedge stuff in my garden. None of them in the same league as this bunch. They were prompt, did terrific work on the old oak trees and bushes (giving everything proper shape etc), advising on problem trees. Plus they totally cleared up everything afterwards (and took it away of course). Truly excellent. Real, skilled professionals. I'll phone when I have snow trouble too!

George, two other guys and a bucket truck came to our house at the end of a long day to help us rescue a cat that had escaped the house and been in a tall tree for two days. The freaked-out cat wriggled free, ping-ponged to the ground and disappeared, but it was not for lack of effort on Mason's part. George didn't charge us a dime for the personnel and resources he put into the task and I appreciated his concern for our cat. George had done some pruning and removal work for us at two different houses to our satisfaction and that's one reason we called him for the cat. Nice guy.

I had a very large poplar tree right behind house. Mr. Mason and his guys did an excellent job taking down that very large tree, and Mr. Mason did it for a very good price. They also cleaned up well; however, I am very dissatisfied with the service I have received after the fact. First of all, the guys did not put the part of my fence back up properly and now it is difficult to shut the gate. Secondly, Mr. Mason did not call the logger resulting in a temporary scare to us. They took the tree down on a Thursday and Friday (if I remember correctly), but Mr. Mason forgot to call the logger so that
