I used Tree Surgeons in 2019 and 2020. Annette was the arborist and she was knowledgeable and professional. I was hoping for them to return and trim the trees again in 2021 at the same value or a little more given recent inflation.
Unfortunately the quote came back at $700 for three (3) trees versus the $600 for four (4) trees previously trimmed in 2019 and 2020. How does the price jump for less work? That went from $150 average cost to $233 or ~55% price increase. Inflation sucks but not to that degree.
Brad at the office just said 'trees are different' to justify the cost then asks when I wanted

I asked for an estimate. Jessica came out. I read the invoice , emailed a couple of questions I had then scheduled tree trimming and small tree removal they could not do it for almost 3 weeks. I scheduled it then received multiple emails requesting I respond to the estimate. Even though it was scheduled. They were to be here Tuesday am between 0800-1000 at 0930 I called asked whether they were coming. I was assured they were. When I returned home 2 hours later no tree trimmers. I called was hung up on twice. Finally demanded to talk to the owner. They showed up at 1pm ate their lunch in my yard

I have a large live oak in my backyard that needed some serious work. It had grown unchecked for over a year and the limbs were close to my roof and my neighbors back patio. Annette from SA Tree Surgeons came out to take a look and gave me an estimate for a full prune of the tree and removal of the ball moss that was all over it. I agreed to the estimate and was told the tree would be trimmed the next day while I was at work. I came home from work the next day and the tree looked awesome. It looks like a brand new tree and they did a great job with cleanup. Overall I am very happy with the work

I was extremely satisfied with tree surgeons quality of service and price. The day after I called them they sent out an arborist to take a look at my property and provide recommendations. Two days later the crew came out and they were amazing. They took care of 5 oaks and 3 other trees and filled up two large trailers with debris. It was like watching Cirque du Soleil perform. They hoisted themselves into the trees and trimmed everything as they swung around. The whole family enjoyed watching the show. Thanks tree surgeons.

Recently hired San Antonio Tree Surgeons based on best price. That was my first mistake. Lesson learned - don't go with less expensive bid when it comes to tree trimming. I did my research and was sure to go with a company that had a certified arborist. I had 3 bids - tree surgeons was least expensive.
The arborist did come out and took notes. Trim 8 oaks trees and prune 6 mature Japanese blueberry shrubs used for privacy around fence line because our house is higher than all surrounding neighbors and we have a pool.

This company was a recommendation. They are by far the best I have worked with. The team starting from the Operators in office who got me set up with my estimate to the team that came out to do the Job and Mrs. Sybil who walked me through the online payment process. The on site team did an excellent job on the trees and did it exactly how I wanted them. They hauled all the brush and left no mess. Highly appreciate that. The Office Operators made sure that I was always informed of each part of the process. Highly recommend this company for Tree service need.

I am very pleased. The Arborist was very patient & knowledgeably in recommending what trees to save & the process we would need to do. We also had 10 trees trimmed. The crew showed up when promised, were very neat & did a super job on our oaks & other trees. Our place looks great thanks to their trimming job. The price was less than I was expecting. San Antonio Tree Surgeons team is really wonderful, responsive, and professional. It's really a great experience working with them: our 30 live oak trees (that really requested a good pruning / cleaning moss balls) are now beautiful and we will call them next year to do our front yard pruning!
