I needed an OLD lock re-keyed.
The big box stores didn't even have anything to replace it with.
I walked into Fox Chase, and asked if they could re-key and I would pick it up later in the day.
They said I could wait if I wanted.
I got a quick bite to eat, and the old cylinders were re-keyed, cleaned, and lubricated when I got back, and at a very reasonable price!

Incompetent! Best describes this outfit. I called to see if they could program a 4 button car remote - they finally called back twice - once they said they could do it - then they said they could not. Called them and got it straightened out. Then made appointment for Saturday morning to have the work done. Confirmed everything! Drove all the way over there and the guy told me he could not do it - because the guy that does it did not show up. Told me there would be another charge also because he said I failed to tell him about the laser cut emergency key that is part of the remote. He then

I had a broken key so I checked around on yp & google. Did not see any locksmiths that looked good.
Checked Yelp and found Lock & Key. A family owned business that has been around since the 70's. That said a lot to me. Must be treating people right!
Just a couple mile from my home, so I swung by. 5 minutes later, a match had been found, cut and I was out the door!
Fast friendly and very reasonable!
The new key works just great so problem solved.

I went in for a new battery for my car remote, walked out with no new battery and a broken car charger with absolutely NO resolution offered. Owner did NOT like the fact I apparently accused him of breaking remote, I nicely stated there is NO NEED TO YELL AT ME, I am simply stating the FACTS as I walked in with a remote that needed a battery & now I'm walking out with no battery & a broken remote?!!!! So tell me fellow YELPERS how would u feel!??!!

They made new keys for my car. These keys have a "chip" in them and are quite expensive! By that I mean well over 100 dollars for one key. They charged half of what the dealer was asking. They were friendly and did a great job for much less money than my dealership. I will use them for all my lock/key needs!!

In a pinch, after hours, and in a storm, I was in need of someone to go out and unlock a door.. I called FIVE locksmith companies to no avail - they were either unwilling or unavailable (thanks google)... I turned to my trusted Yelp and finally found this company! The person who answered the phone was friendly and eager to help. Within an hour (as promised) they arrived and unlocked the door for $200. I would definitely recommend this company whenever you need a locksmith - especially in those emergency situations... Thank you!!
