I bought an entire house of wood flooring from PID, site unseen.I was totally reliant on their web-site, samples and phone conversations, and they shipped the wood from NY to MD ( where my house is located). First, I went to many flooring company's in my city ( metro DC) and none had nearly close to the wide variety of floors as does PID. Second, their web-site is fantastic, and allows you see what the flooring will looks like in a room. Moreover, the web-site gives you ALL the information you need about each floor. I was looking to get the floors redone in my home and was told by a friend to check out their website because they have an awesome program where you can preview the floors on your phone by taking a picture! Within seconds i can see a preview of their floor samples in my living room! Really awesome feature, this inspired me to contact them and i am happy that i did! Found PID from a referral from our contractor - what a great store, incredible selection of modern and timeless floors - we chose to go with River Edge at first, but due to a delay with COVID, the team easily transitioned us to Hope at a discount to account for the mishaps. We had them installed in our new apt on the UES and are just so happy with the way they came out. I initially did the measuring for how much we needed and we ordered almost 200 sf too much, the PID team was gracious enough to allow us to bring them back to receive a refund for the unused still wrapped portions. Came in here the with my contractor to replace the floors in my apartment. They had a large selection and the sales person was very knowledgeable in recommending something that would look great and not difficult to maintain. The floors were finally installed yesterday and I absolutely love them. Transformed my apartment- highly recommend!

This was our third stop after visiting both State of the Art and LV Wood with my client today. Needless to say we will not be purchasing from here. I guess my client and I didn't look like money to them. The customer service was lack luster. This may explain why in my 10 years of designing in NYC I've never even heard of them. The man that helped us started by insinuating that we didn't know what we were looking for when that was in fact quite the opposite. And then proceeded to mansplain how flooring works to me. I just smiled and kept nodding as to not be rude.

Great showroom and selection. Some of their flooring is white labelled i.e. renamed common brands which you can get heavily discounted elsewhere. e.g. their product "Liverpool" which is a name unique to PID Flooring and sells for $10/sq is actually "Kensington" brand from a company called Baltic Wood which you can purchase for $4-5/sq from many distributors in NY/NJ. Ultimately you are paying Manhattan Show Room prices when a few minutes on google or other store rooms in the City you can save 50% including delivery. Sales Support 5 stars. Value for money 3 stars.

I've had the best experience with this flooring company. Not only do they have the best selection of hardwood floors in their showroom, but they are super attentive. Pasquale has educated me on all the aspects of picking the floor I want and things to consider. He also was more than helpful in getting me samples of colors that were not in the showroom. I highly recommend this company. They are a pleasure to work with and highly professional.

This summer I re-did my bedroom floor as a DIY project. I purchased the new wood for the floors and the self-leveling compound for the underlayment from PID. The folk there were very helpful and patient in answering my numerous questions. And I am absolutely thrilled with the quality of the products I purchased. I highly recommend PID floors both for their product selection and quality and for the customer service they provide.
