Eric has a bachelor's degree in Horticulture from Colorado State University and was born and raised in the family business. A Certified Member of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers, Eric learned alongside his father, Bob, before taking the helm and continuing the family tradition at Bruss in 1996.
Bruss Landscaping, Inc. was founded in 1952 by Carl and Anne Bruss primarily as a nursery and retail garden center operation. As time went on and the business grew, Bob and Bill Bruss became the second generation owners of the business and began offering residential landscape design and installation services to their customers.
We weren't sure what we wanted in our landscape or who to go to. We'd used Bruss years ago when we lived in Lombard and based on that, gave you a call. Luckily, we got Mike. He helped us clarify what could be done, explore options, and made sure it was executed well and in a timely fashion. Such a pleasure to work with!

Bruss Landscaping is looking for new team members to add to our growing crews for the 2020 season. Candidates must have experience working in the landscaping field and be physically capable of lifting and moving materials in excess of 50 pounds. Our work is outdoors, exposed to the weather, and our season will begin on 3/23/20 and run until late November/early December.

Bruss Landscaping built a new large hardscape patio in our backyard in Fall 2021, and we're extremely pleased with the result. Zach their landscape designer was great to work with from beginning to end - We love his design, and during the project he was proactively confirming our satisfaction as each component was built. Eve the project foreman led the work crew that did a high-quality job and communicated often with us. - We even received compliments from our neighbors about the professionalism of the crew. Bruss has taken care of our neighbors yard for over a decade. Every year we have to chase them out of our yard after they have tromped through our landscaping and plantings. They can easily perform their tasks without destroying our plantings...
They may be a local firm, but their carelessness for neighbors plantings is disrespectful and unprofessional.
