R&S Basements in Cumming, GA knows that finishing a basement can be a stressful and confusing process There are many decisions to make, and multiple product and finish options from which to choose. We'll work with you to understand how you plan to use the space, create a design that meets your needs, and educate you on the steps we'll take to do the job right.
Our goal with every basement is to have the space look and feel like you designed it from the ground up. R&S Basements, more than any other company, achieves this goal. We "cut our teeth" on basements, and are very experienced in working with pre-existing constraints e.g. We've completed hundreds of projects in the last eleven years, and nearly every one of these customers was happier at the end of the project than when we started!
A finished basement is not a commodity. Making a decision about who will finish your basement solely on price is a mistake. To help you better understand this, keep in mind that all legitimate basement contractors have very similar, if not identical, cost structures. What one company pays for flooring, granite, carpenter labor, etc. is very similar to what other companies pay.

Kevin and team did an amazing job finishing our basement. When we did the initial walk through, he knew what we needed and were looking for and did a great job staying within the budget we came up with. The communication was great and we are truly enjoying how our basement turned out. Thanks to them we now have 1900 sq feet of living space added to our home … including an office, bedroom, workout room, living area, kitchenette, bathroom and theatre room! We are (and have) definitely recommending to friends that are looking to have their basements done.

Kevin finished our basement a few years ago. We could not have been happier. From the moment he came to meet us to discuss the project we knew he was the person to use. The project (which included a bar, bedroom, media room, bathroom and 2 storage areas) came in on time and on budget. We have used it daily since he finished. I've recommended Kevin to anyone that has asked me about remodeling.

R&S Basements did a fabulous job finishing our basement. We bid the job out to 3 contractors, and Kevin was the only one who really listened, designed the space to fit our needs, and came in at our budget. The entire process was handled very professionally. Kevin communicated clearly and often, letting us know what we could expect every week. There were no surprises or additional expenses. In addition, every member of Kevin's crew was polite, respectful, and helpful. I highly recommend R&S Basements!

Kevin and his crew were wonderful. The work they did for us is stunning. And they were so polite and kind - and they always showed up when they said they would. R&S finished out basement (which looks nicer then the rest of the house!), and build a number of bookshelves. I highly recommend their service and product!

The contractor was impressive during the quoting stage and their references checked out. Beyond that I found the communication scheduling, and site demeanor less than professional, quite a bit less. Our job started in October with a scheduled completion of late January but finished up in early May. Beware added charges and discrepancy between what you agree to in person and what the contractor's interpretation is!

Kevin did a phenomenal job on our basement. When we first met with Kevin, we explained to him what our wish list was and he was up front on what was doable within the scope of our budget. He also worked with us to maintain that budget throughout the project.

Kevin refinished our basement adding a custom bar and built-ins, relocating an exterior door and adding all new floor and wall coverings, lighting, etc. The project came out perfectly, timely and within budget. We were so please we had R&S Basements renovate our kitchen and master bath. We had the same result the second time and have been very happy with the finished product. Kevin and his contractors did a fantastic job on our basement project which included a party room, bedroom and full bath. He asked us what we had on our wishlist and exceeded our expectations by building us a custom bar that is the envy of our friends. The quality of the workmanship was top notch. Our project came in on budget and his quote was $10k under the other quotes we received! Kevin worked closely with us every step of the way to ensure the project was completed on time and to our satisfaction. I plan to use him again when we’re ready to renovate our master bath.
