Proudly owned by Doug Kiger, H&G Plumbing & Heating has been a family owned business for over 50 years. The company was started by Ralph Harness, Wayne Geisler & Monroe Bormann in 1966. In 1997 Chris Schwark inherited the business upon the death for her father, Ralph Harness. In 2015 the company was sold to its long time General Manager Douglas Kiger.

The two gentlemen who installed our new water heater were professional and courteous. The installation was professional and efficient. All connections were hard piped to the new unit vs. others who use hoses. They did an impressive job. We will continue to do business with H & G in the future. Thank you H & G!

I had no problem with the guys that came out and did the work it was almost two months later I received a call asking for payment due to the office employees forgot to run the payment they said it was their fault and that they where sorry I had to see if the payment came out being that it was almost two months I thought it did so I asked for a discount due to the fact it was a mistake on there side the said that they would have to ask the owner and call me back when they called back the guy on the phone said that the owner could not do a discount I told him just take the whole amount what a disappointing

This company hires employees that are disrespectful to others on the highway and management don’t care or have any respect to someone who makes a complaint to them manager and disrespectful to them also this company says it’s been in business for 50 years but have not there are crooked and higher unqualified people so I asked all to not support this company they are so incompetent to there clients and. Quality of workmanship is below poor if you want quality workmanship call Payne heating and cooling as the people there respect the people on the highway and as Coustomer don’t pay more for

Our water heater went out at 7pm and H&G came out the next day to install a new one. They were very professional on the phone and in person. Couldn't be happier. They also found two small gas leaks near the furnace which they repaired as well. The price was very fair. Thank You!!!

Five Stars for H&G (if I could give them more I would)! Our AC stopped cooling over the weekend! H&G came out and got us back up and running! Cory was professional and knowledgeable and did a great job! I would not hesitate to contact H&G for all my plumbing and heating needs over AND over again! Great job guys!

We've used H&G for several plumbing projects large and small: replacing an old clogged sink pipe, replacing a water pressure tank, replacing old metal pipes with pvc from bathroom to septic, and replacing old iron water pipes with copper.
They are always polite, professional, answer questions to my satisfaction, and do neat tidy work. Recommended.

Huge shoutout to H&G Plumbing and Heating. Central Air wasn’t coming on so had them come out yesterday. After an evaluation of it and looking around the connector piece on the unit was shot. So air was up and running.
Last night after I got the house cooked down I turned the temp up and then a bit later it got a bit more stuffy so I turned it down… a bit again. No air. Didn’t kick on. Called for a shower control valve replacement. Got my appointment for 7am the next morning. WoW quick !!
My Technician was Owen.
Owen arrived on time.
He was polite, efficient, laid out a protective drop cloth and picked up his mess when he was done.
He left with a smile and a handshake.
This was truly a 5 Star experience.
I have done the friend of a friend who knows somebody stuff before. Always had to wait forever and something else would get broken or repair didn’t meet my expectation. Those days are over.

They deserve ZERO stars. They do not stand behind their work. They abandon their paying customers. Shockingly bad customer service. Salespeople were good at selling premium items and then ZERO help when things need to be serviced- they simply said they no longer work on that brand- they one they sold and installed for me! Save yourself some disappointment and use someone else.
