They were to trim and remove trees for our power lines. They were told of some berry bushes that were in the way of driving a vehicle in and they ran some over. They also have came did some work left for a week or 2 and came back without talking to us multiple times.They should be talking to the property owner's on plans on the property owner's property and they are not.

I did not use this service, but they were doing work down the street. The workers left the unattended chipper running in the road even after several cars driving by pulled up behind it until the workers came back to the truck. The message of their recklessness and irresponsibility wasn’t acknowledged until the cops came. I hope the company was notified and these workers were dealt with. The day could have ended in tragedy.

We had a tree removed and a giant branch removed that was hanging over the garage. I can't say enough good about this company. Doug came and gave us advice on what to remove, how to proceed and gave us an estimate. The crew arrived on time, was courteous, efficient, fast but cautious, and cleaned everything up. Highly recommend this company!

I highly recommend Chad Herrema and the CHOP Tree Service team. I was recently out of town during a pretty bad windstorm that brought down a huge tree on our driveway and car. The tree obstructed us from even being able to access the house. Upon a recommendation from a neighbor, we gave CHOP a call. In a jam to get the work done quickly and at a fair price we were able to get everything from the quote to the cleanup in less than 36 hours. CHOP's professional service top to bottom and ability to quickly recognize an emergency goes a long way in my book.

Chop is one of the only tree services that was responsive during the quote process. They showed up when they said they would to quote and to do the work. After having so many companies tell us they would come out and not show up, I was really appreciative of that! They had a bit of a wait to get everything done but were communicative of that so it was no problem. Plus, they did a great job at trimming and removing fallen limbs from our yard.

I got a tree removed last year that fell on my house. CHOP did a great job and were very respectful of my yard and property. Earlier this year I had another tree removed that was right in the middle of one of my planting beds. They were very gentle and I did not lose a single plant. Whether or not Chop is the least expensive is secondary in importance to having trust and confidence in a job well done. Having confidence and security in knowing the guys at Chop will do their best work has a substantial worth all its own. You now have a very loyal client going forward. After signing the contract and putting half down, all I heard was excuse after excuse about doing the job. It was 3 months after it was supposed to be done that they finished. Crushed my driveway with the crane. Called them back to grind the stumps, which was in the contract. Came home from work one day to find them ground up. Found a broken widow in my patio room due to shooting rocks from the grinding. They took $400 off the balance for all the inconvenience from day one. Communication is something they need to improve. Constant emails and phone calls did not get answered in a timely manner.

We had an awesome experience with CHOP. They were prompt in coming out for a quote, offered what we felt was great advice, and ended up being significantly cheaper than two other tree removal services in the area. They were patient with us as we made our decision as to how many trees to take. We ended up taking 8 or 9 trees, and the work crew did a great job taking down large trees in a challenging area of our yard. They had to be very careful in order to not damage the surrounding houses and the "keeper" trees. They pruned two of our front trees for free, and they followed up to repair

The way their "team" conducts themselves in a public setting is very inappropriate. You probably shouldn't be driving around a truck with CHOP and your shirts and be rude as all get out to people. Good luck with these shysters - they conduct simple stuff like that and should make anyone wonder if you can trust them taking down a 4 foot tree.
