Water Shield

My review was in my drafts for some reason and this review long overdue. I reached out to Water Shield in June 2019 to get a roof inspection. Crystal was able to get me an appointment within a few days.

Tony came out and completed the roof inspection and even took pictures to show us the condition our roof was in. He was honest and let us know we should replace our roof sooner rather than later. He said our roof would hold up a little longer but it would be better to be proactive and get a new roof soon. He provided me a couple quotes for two different types of shingles.

This is an addendum to my original post, not because I enjoy denigrating anyone, or any business, but because I remain galled that almost three years to the date of our initial contact with this company, the owner of the business license, Christina Martinez, contacted me and offered to refund us the money Tony, and she, had taken from us when we contacted them them to repair/replace our roof. Some garbled email about atonement, etc., - nothing that made sense. Besides being well past the awful experience, our roof having had to be repaired by a competent roofer, I could not understand why it took

We have used Water Shield for a few different tasks over the last year and have been quite impressed.

We had a leak in an upstairs bathroom last summer, and Tony came out took a look and was able to fix it quickly. Another roofer had told us that we needed to replace our roof immediately, but Tony gave the roof a more thorough inspection and said that we should consider replacement within the next year.

The crew replaced our roof this week, and their work was both thorough and efficient. It only took two days, and they cleaned up ALL of the debris both days. The cost was cheaper than most companies

I contacted Tony when he was finishing up a job in our neighborhood and asked for an estimate. He stopped by our house and gave me an estimate the next day which was a good deal compared to other estimates so we went with him and they did a good job replacing our old roof with a new one!

I recommend him and his company!

We woke up one morning to a leaky roof coming into our bedroom. I called Tony and he was at our house within an hour and not only fixed fixed the leak. He gave us the best quote to redo the entire roof. He didn't charge to fix the leak. We choose a 30 year architectural shingle. His price was the best around. He is professional and courteous and punctual. I would recommend him and his team any day. Thank you Tony and crew for saving us a lot of damage and doing a great job.

If I could give them zero star I would because it's the worst company I have ever worked with. Tony is cheater, worked on my roof and two weeks later a storm came through and the shingles fall off. I called to complain I got the worst altitude from his office manager(wife) and they wanted to charge me again from their work. I wouldn't recommend them to anybody.

This review is long over due, Water Shield has been by far the best home improvement company I have ever used. My mother and I have been using Water Shield for about 3 years now. The first time was when my mother needed her roof replaced and gutters, a few months later I had my roof replaced by them as well. Recently I used them for a siding repair, no appoints were available but Crystal found away to squeeze me in, and like always Tony showed when they said he would, and was able to complete my repair right away. This companies is reliable and trust worthy, I recommend them all time to friends

Signed the contract, and so far 100% IMPRESSED. Mr. Martinez -- the owner -- was the only roofer that came out and actually went on the roof. He was completely upfront, no BS specials, no high pressure sale pitch. NO BS CONSTANT PHONE CALLS.

The roof was taken all the way down to the deck, and several squares were replaced at no additional coast.

All new materials were correctly and patiently installed for a roof that was 27 square. All roofing vent pipes painted to match the new shingles.

I called Water Shield, LLC because I noticed a water stain on my ceiling. I called the office and spoke to Crystal who scheduled Tony to come out and asset the issue. He was prompt for the set appointment time and was able to find a hole in my 2 year old roof. He give me a fair repair quote and was able to remove two satellite dishes also. He said he would return on the weekend to do the repairs, but to my surprise he came the very next day! I also asked him if he could replace a rain cap on the roof flue pipe and he told me no problem! He is such a lifesaver!! I really liked his work ethics and

Water Shield was great. They communicated with me and performed flawlessly. They moved patio furniture and replaced when done. They priced the job correctly and worked with me to install shutters as well. I highly recommend them.

Tony did a great job. We have a new home that is only two years old. We had a leak above our gable windows and the builder said they fixed it last summer. Tony went up there and took lots of pictures and even a video to show us that they did not fix our roofing by the two windows. Explained what he needed to do, and two days later he came out and not only fix the roof, but took the extra step to seal the corners of the front of the windows too. Very neat and very clean, and the before and after pictures made it really easy to see his work that was done. Very well priced too!

We could not have asked for a more professional and friendly roofer! Tony goes out of his way to do quality work for a very reasonable and affordable price. When I called to schedule, he was quick to respond and scheduled a visit the next day for an estimate. He goes above and beyond to make sure your roof is in great shape even if you only called for one specific problem. He fixed our loose flashing and even repaired several damaged shingles he noticed at no extra cost. He does not take advantage of you and is very honest! You won't regret working with Tony!

I am very impress with Water Shield and Tony, he did such an amazing job on my roof that even some of my neighbors wants Tony to work on their roofs. He is very respectful and he takes care of details,

Great service. Scheduled quickly to look at a small roof leak, was planning to just have them tarp it for upcoming rain but the tech was able to fix the issue and had shingles on his truck that matched mine to replace a few damaged ones and solve the issue on the initial visit. Good experience.

Tony Martinez is the owner and a roof expert. He is honest and a man of his word. He doesn't try to scare you into fixing things that don't need repaired. I highly recommend his services.

What more can you ask: quick same day estimate, on-time for the appointment, a great price, terrific customer service and completed the job quickly and efficiently the next day.

Tony and his assistant did a great job replacing about a dozen missing shingles on my roof. Responded within an hour, came to estimate the next day, and did the job right away, quickly and very well. Highly recommended.

Awful company. Congenial but does not do proper work or, worse, admit his error. Company was contracted to put a new roof on our townhouse this past March 2018, after a major wind storm went through the area. My husband is elderly, has a detached retina and suffers from dementia, which the owner knew, so we had no way to review his work, or realize that he left flashings unsecured, damaged our chimney (never advised us of that so that immediate arrangements could be made even if that involved paying more then the inflated cost he initially charged) and worse he and his crew failed to police the

First and foremost I cannot be more satisfied with the repair that was done on my roof. With me being new to the area it was hard to find a company that usually friends or family would recommend. Water Shields customer service was awesome they came over the same day I call to do estimate and actually had my roof fixed in no time. Glad it was just a minor repair. But with me just purchasing my New home I have a feeling I will be coming across Water Shield again. Very satisfied, great company as far. Even being new to the neighborhood I now have a company that I can refer just might get my siding
