Our project took about 6 weeks and we love it love it! They have a beautiful showroom with lots of options for any projects. I used FCM Remodelings to repair flood damage from Harvey. I am happy with their work, and would use them again. I was extremely impressed with their cabinetmaker, and added additional cabinets to the project.
I felt that the work was done at a fair price, and in as short of time as was possible considering the workload after Harvey. This it's the 3rd time doing renovations at my house and for the first time I'm in love with the results. Marcela and crew are in top of details at all times. Result its an amazing kitchen done by FCM REMODELINGS.

This is literally the worst home-improvement experience I've ever had. (Where is the "zero stars" button when you need it?) I hired FCM to redo the tile in my bathroom, beginning March 1, which they said they'd finish the same week. It took more than FOUR MONTHS and I had to hire another contractor to redo and finish the shoddy work they partially did before abandoning the job. I even advised them in writing of the problems with the job and they still won't make it right. This is not an exhaustive list of all the problems they created: (1) they used the wrong color grout

Regarding interior design and advising:
A vision is important but execution is just as crucial. Marcela is a gifted interior designer. She provided good suggestions for tile, color, and flow of the room. We relocated the tub and shower in the master bath. Also, she met with us often to discuss our materials, design, and other preliminary choices. It is unfortunate that she did not notate all of these selections and decisions and communicate them to her contractor. Also, during the execution of the remodel, she was mostly absent. Five stars for Floor Coverings & More!!! I had FC&M replace my master bathroom vanity & sinks with a beautiful granite counter and 2 porcelain sinks. Jose with FC&M was highly responsive, professional & courteous in working with me throughout my project, from scheduling the estimate and installers to following up to ensure the work was completed to my satisfaction. Update 9/11/14. Job is complete and we are generally happy with the results. If there were a way to give 3 1/2 stars I would do it. I do recommend this Contractor, but here are the caveats. Inspect the work carefully, quality control is not a strength. Mistakes are corrected quickly and hassle free but you will need to catch them. Flooring and paint work are definitely strengths. Electrical, and plumbing were okay. If I were to do another frameless glass shower enclosure, I think i would just go direct to a supplier and leave it outside the Contract. Finally, plan on doing some clean up

In 2007, we had 2 bathrooms renovated by this company. No supervision of labor = many problems, starting with framing. "Framer" owned no level (but may now possess ours, as it went missing about that time) and drank at work--so anything you install on top if his work has a problem). Tile installers were very careful and professional, but the rest of trades/labor seemed to take no pride in their work and sheepishly shrugged off problems and kept going.
